Known for covering songs of famous groups, rock band LEDApple has now tried its hand at SHINee’s “Sherlock”!
On February 5th, LEDApple revealed its live band cover of “Sherlock” on its Youtube channel. They successfully recreated the song with its own rock twist and has been receiving much praise for the cover.

Oh no! SHINee‘s Taemin has accidentally ripped his pants during a performance on live TV.
On December 28, the 2012 KBS Music Awards took place on live TV. Taemin along with the other SHINee members gave a charismatic performance that involved intense dancing. Due to the dancing and the tight outfits, Taemin’s pants unfortunately ripped and his underwear was flashed.
SHINee performed their hit “Sherlock” during the second half of the award show. The group was captivating the audience and viewers with their powerful choreography and perfect live singing. But towards the end of the performance, Taemin’s pants ripped and flashed his underwear. However, Taemin didn’t lose his nerves and kept his cool while finishing his performance strongly
On December 3, the Top 12 contestants of the audition program participated in The Beatles Code, where DickPunks went up on the mini stage to perform their unique version of Sherlock.
With no drums on the set, Park Garam turned into the rapper of the band, adding a little something special to the performance.

Idol group SHINee reveals a video message about the SM Art Exhibition that will begin on August 10.
This art exhibition will be from August 10-19 and will take place at the Seoul Coex Center.
There will be many different events and galleries of the many artists of SM Entertainment.
SHINee in particular will have an event where the fans can experience a holographic simulation of a live performance of SHINee's songs such as "Sherlock" and "Hello."
Fans will also be able to take a photo before admittance to the exhibition that will also be featured in the holographic video.
SHINee will be attending the exhibition as well and hopes to see their fans there
Big Bang’s mini album ALIVE has placed 1st place on Gaon’s Album Chart for 1st Half of 2012. According to Gaon Charts on July 20th, the album which was released in February, sold 266,911 copies, landing in first place.
ALIVE was the only album on the chart that sold over 200,000 copies. Big Bang’s recently released special edition album STILL ALIVE also placed 6th, selling 117,929 copies, showing the selling power of the group.
In second place was SHINee’s mini album SHERLOCK selling 168,161 copies and third place was Girl’s Generation unit group TaeTiSeo, with TWINKLE selling 140,826 copies. TWINKLE was the highest selling album by an all girls’ group.
Xia Junsoo’s 1st solo album TARANTALLEGRA ranked 4th, selling 126,220 copies while CN BLUE’s mini album EAR FUN came in at 5th, selling 121,735 albums
Big Bang’s Alive ranked top on album sales for the first half of 2012 with 266,911 copies sold. The group’s 5th EP was the only album that sold over 200,000 copies.
The formidable boy group ranked high with several songs from the album, such as the title “BLUE.” Also, Big Bang’s special edition album Still Alive ranked the sixth, selling 117,929 copies, which allowed the group to have two top ten albums.
The runner-up, SHINee, sold 168,161 copies. of its 4th EP, Sherlock.
SNSD’s first unit group, TaeTiSeo sold the most of its album among K-pop girl groups. Perching at the third place, the three twinkling girls sold 140,826 copies of its first EP, Twinkle.
JYJ’s Jun Su was the most successful solo, ranking fourth with his first solo album Tarantallegra (126,220 copies sold)

Girls Generation's unit group, Taetiseo, was third with their mini album "Twinkle", recording 139,388 units.
On the digital charts, T-ara's "Lovey Dovey" was number one, followed by Big Bang's "Blue" and "Fantastic Baby". Busker Busker was at fourth place with their hit song "Cherry Blossom Ending". The band didn't do too shabby in the actual album realm either, as they sold 104,180

Gaon Chart has unveiled the top artists in physical and digital sales for the first half of 2012!
Perhaps to nobody’s surprise, Big Bang and T-ara were named the Kings and Queens of sales for the year so far, as they each came out on top in the categories of physical album sales and digital album sales respectively.
Big Bang took first with their fifth mini-album, ‘Alive‘, which recorded 267,319 units in sales through May, setting it at a lead of over 100,000 units against SHINee, who took second place with 165,411 units with ‘Sherlock‘.

Within a week, SHINee traveled to Taiwan twice – last week to participate in SMTOWN Live in Taiwan and this week to attend a charity event put on by Etude House. While attending the charity event, SHINee announced that they will be traveling back to Taiwan once again in September for the group’s own concert!
During the event, SHINee performed three songs – "Lucifer," "Stranger," and "Sherlock." During the performance of "Sherlock," Key’s shoelaces came undone; however, he was able to fix the issue without causing major disruptions to the performance, which earned him praise from the media and the fans for his quick reaction and professionalism.
Aside from the performances, SHINee also answered questions during a press conference. When asked about the way that they take care of their body, Minho expressed that the members all like to play sports, and he himself exercises for more than an hour straight whenever he has the chance to go to the gym
SHINee will hold a live Q&A session on UStream Korea, tonight on May 11 at 9PM KST!
This special event is organized to celebrate the release of SHINee’s Japanese album. The group will get their new Japanese single, “Sherlock,” out on May 16.
For the live stream, all SHINee members will be present. The show is expected to air approximately an hour, featuring their Japanese music video, concert footage, and a special Q&A session. They will take your questions and answer them live, so make sure you log in to the show!
