Jay Park & AOMG Artists To Perform For Asian Music Festival In New York, Continue With Shows In Los Angeles & DC

(Photo : AOMG ) Jay Park & AOMG are embarking on their first U.S. tour.

On October 2, Asian Music Festival organizers SIVA Group announced that Jay Park and AOMG artists Simon Dominic (Simon D.), Loco, Gray, and DJ Pumpkin would be performing at New York”s Stage 48 on November 15.

AOMG is the independent music label founded by Jay Park and Simon Dominic, whose mission is to produce unique R&B performers, as well as hip-hop artists.

Jay Park recently released the hip-hop and R&B album “Evolution,” a seventeen track album which also features Simon Dominic, Loco, and Gray. In 2014, Jay Park appeared at the K-Pop Night Out during SXSW. Jay Park last toured toured the United States in 2012 as part of Verizon”s APAHM Tour. His other notable performances include his appearance at MTV World Stage. Jay Park has also served the official ambassador for the R-16 b-boy tournament from 2011-2013....

Girl group 2NE1 said yesterday that the group would not take part in any end-of-year music festival, even though it released its second studio album in February and stayed on top of many music charts with the title track from the album earlier this year. “It is an honor for a musician to be invited to a music festival, but we politely declined all the offers because we think it is time for [2NE1] to keep a low profile”, said an official from YG Entertainment. On October 25, a rep from MBC shared that Seungyeon will be acting in the one-act drama “Guitar and Hot Pants“. The KARA member is currently playing the part of Ga Eul in the drama “Jang Bori is Here“, and it looks like she”s made some good impressions.

EXO-K have been appointed as the ambassadors of C-Festival. The ceremony took place at Samseong-dong Trade Tower in Seoul on October 21.
