Singer Kim Bum-soo sings "Flying Kite", from Compassion Band's second album, "Endless Fruits", which was released on Thursday, during its showcase at the Blue Square in Hannam-dong, central Seoul.NEWSIS
JeA, of the girl group Brown Eyed Girls, began singing "Mama Song" on the Blue Square stage Thursday, but not long after the first three bars she burst into tears, unable to continue. JeA barely managed to finish the song in the end, but her tearful performance was more than understandable to the audience members as the song was dedicated to children in underdeveloped countries who are suffering from poverty.
JeA is one of the performers who sang during the showcase of Compassion Band's second album, "Endless Fruits", which was released on the same day.
The band was formed in 2006 within Compassion Korea, a nongovernmental Christian child-sponsorship organization that focuses on the development of children living in poverty
Brown Eyed Girls' JeA, actor/model Hong Jong Hyun and Tim took a portion of their time to lend their beautiful voices for something that is beneficial to abandoned pets.
The three sang 'Hello, Thank You'. Its proceeds will be donated to shelters that houses abandoned animals.
When Brown Eyed Girls members Narsha and Miryo came out with a sub-unit, it was quite the cause for excitement. The group as a whole has had many noteworthy singles, most recently being “Kill Bill.” As well as group hits, the girls have all had solo activity that resulted in quite a few memorable acts and have given us all a chance to see them grow as individual artists. While the group has had a lot of experience together and apart, M&N would be the group’s first ever sub-unit! Now, they don’t need it to bring attention back to the main group, or even to the two members represented, since they all have quite a fan base and individual popularity. One could only assume that this would be an exploration into a different genre, or concept, that would bring something new to the K-Pop scene or, at the very least, the girl’s repertoire
Girls’ Generation‘s lovely deer YoonA was a radiant model for a advertisement for a contacts brand.
In the photos YoonA has flowing brown hair and a confident smile as she poses naturally for the photos in a simple white top. The advertisement was to show YoonA in a modern and feminine look to fit the brand’s image, and it looks like YoonA did more than a good job in fitting in that role. In a close up photo, YoonA’s bright eyes show how comfortable and clear the contacts are.
A staff member who was at the photo shoot commented, “YoonA was perfect in her face, body, and gaze. We were able to see that YoonA was truly like a goddess. Especially in this advertisement for contacts, YoonA had bright eyes and expression during the shoot.”
As the driving force behind the Korean Wave, K-Pop is starting to pop up in some rather unexpected places. It has lunged across the boundaries of mainstream US culture following the successful footsteps of "Gangnam Style" and it is not slowing down any time soon.
Billboard, Spin, and a host of other media outlets in the United States have already jumped on the bandwagon making Korean pop more accessible to the masses, but the internet continues to be the biggest propellant.
Viral doesn't even begin to express the success rate of Korea's biggest stars on YouTube, but as many K-Pop fans already know, there is more to it than cutesy music videos and flashy dance numbers - a lot of legitimately good music is pouring out of the peninsula, and slowly but surely it's catching on

On November 30, she shared a photo on Twitter with the caption, “Cut it all off~ It’s the first time since middle school that I’ve had it at this length.”

In other news, JeA’s relationship with YG Entertainment producer Choi Pil Kang has been gaining a lot of attention lately from the public
JeA of girl group Brown Eyed Girls has been dating music producer Choi Pil-gang of YG Entertainment, according to a local media report yesterday.
The report quoted industry experts as saying that they have been in a relationship for about three years and also have also considered marriage. It also said the two met as trainees at a local entertainment agency before making their debuts and later developed romantic feelings for each other.
Choi has been known for composing many of the songs for YG Entertainment's Big Bang, including "I Don't Understand", "Stupid Liar", Seungri's "V.V.I.P" and many more.
The singer's agency has reportedly said that it is checking with the singer to confirm if the report is true.
