Actress Kim Hee-seon is returning to TV after a six-year hiatus to star in the upcoming SBS drama "Faith", which is scheduled to be aired in mid-August. In the drama, Kim plays the role of a plastic surgeon who is abducted by a warrior, played by heartthrob Lee Min-ho, and taken back 700 years in time to his era.
The Chosun Ilbo interviewed Kim about her decision to return to TV and her future plans."Before I got married in 2007, I often found myself spending whole weeks in front of the cameras filming TV dramas and commercials, without even having enough time to properly study the roles I was playing", she recalled. "So there was a lot of criticism of my poor acting skills, and I decided to take a break. I wanted to seek out roles that I liked and take part in projects that I thought were more meaningful"
Following Hyoyeon, Girls’ Generation member Taeyeon has fallen victim to plastic surgery rumors.
The rumors surfaced after the April 14th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Music Core‘ showed the singer appearing somewhat different than before. Netizens have been claiming that her nose bridge seemed to be taller and her jaw line seemed to be more sleek. They immediately captured screen shots of the singer and uploaded them onto online community sites with captions that read, “Past photos of Taeyeon to the present”.
However, SM Entertainment has stepped forward and slammed all plastic surgery rumors regarding the Girls’ Generation member. On April 16th, a representative of their agency spoke with Star News stating, “We find it absurd that these rumors have surfaced when they are currently busy with their schedules

"This is the nose you'll see most if you go clubbing these days", said Sumi Lee, a university student in Seoul. She gestured to an ad for a posh plastic surgery clinic, showcasing "before and after" images of a rhinoplasty patient.
"I call it the Gangnam nose, and half of my friends have it. If I could afford it, I'd get it too".
Lee isn't alone. A country renowned for its dramas, music and high tech culture is swiftly becoming famous for surgically altered faces. The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery reported that Korea has the second highest rate of plastic surgery procedures per capita in the world after Hungary.
A survey conducted by the Seoul city government reported over 50 percent of women under the age of 30 went under the knife in 2011, and 31
