Girl group Brave Girls is returning to the music stage after a year and a half long wait!
The group will be releasing a new single titled “For You,” which is composed by Electroboyz‘s Chakun, Battle of the Stars, and Methree. The lyrics are written by Chakun. This single comes before Brave Girls release a new album later in the year to set the stage for the group’s musical transformation.
“For You” will be released on August 31 KST through online music stores.

Taiwanese-Korean artist Bii who debuted in 2010 returns with his second album since completing his military service which he joined in 2011 shortly after his first full album Bii Story released. The multilingual singer used Chinese, Korean and English in the lyrics of his self-composed first plug Come Back To Bii.His album Come Back To Bii also includes "Shooting Stars Fly By" the opening theme for the Taiwan Broadcast of K-Drama The King 2 Hearts, and Shi Zai Bi Xing, his duet with Andrew Tan(Malaysian singer)
Bii met the members of local media at Boulevard Hotel Mid Valley City, 27th August 2013 in the afternoon, before embarking on a packed schedule. Bii will be staying for a week and will be touring around Malaysia to meet his fans and to promote his new album
On August 26, on an episode of SBS “Good Morning Entertainment Special,” former 2012 tvN drama “Answer Me 1997” co-stars Seo In Guk and Jung Eunji sat down for a couple interview. The two former co-stars, who were chased with rumors of a relationship before, during, and after shooting the drama due to their sizzling chemistry as a couple in “Answer Me 1997,” were asked to do an interview for a special event in Busan.
In October 2014, Busan will be hosting the ITU Authority Conference. As 2012 hit drama “Answer Me 1997” was set in Busan and Jung Eunji is a Busan native, Seo In Guk and Jung Eunji were asked to be honorary ambassadors of the conference.

SM Entertainment’s mysterious trainee Seulgi is currently gaining attention after being mentioned by Super Junior’s Kyuhyun.
On the August 21st episode of MBC TV variety ‘Radio Star’, Kyuhyun was asked about stars that he finds pretty. He mentioned Girls' Generation’s YoonA and miss A’s Suzy before adding that he don’t like people who are famous.
Kim Gura then said, “I bet he likes trainees” and the whole set started to laugh. As Kyuhyun was pondering, f(x)’s Krystal and Sulli, who appeared as guests on the episode, mentioned a trainee named Seulgi who might have stolen Kyuhyun’s heart. Kyuhyun started nodding as he said, “Seulgi is not bad.”

Popular entertainment show "Grandpas Over Flowers", which airs on cable channel tvN, will take a break after it airs the second round of episodes in September.
Despite relatively high ratings of 5 percent on average, well above the 1 percent more typical on cable, the producers decided to take some time off before making the third season due to the busy schedules of the four veteran actors on the show.
In the first round of "Grandpas Over Flowers", broadcast in July, the four stars traveled to Paris. The second series, which will air in September, shows the men travelling to Taiwan.
But because the four are filming other programs now, the third round will not be filmed until winter.
"Everyone was excited about taking the third trip", said producer Na Young-seok of the show
SISTAR’s main vocalist Hyorin may be standing before her fans as a solo artist.
According to Starship Entertainment, Hyorin skipped taking a vacation after the group concluded the promotions for their second album, ‘Give It To Me’, and has been coming to the dance studio everyday by herself to practice with famous dance instructors.
It is said that Hyorin is practicing and working hard to make her debut as a solo singer, especially since she is predicted as the star who will succeed Lee Hyori as the new “Queen of Kpop.”
Her label said, “For Hyorin’s solo debut, it is all about what concept she chooses rather than the timing of her release. When we decide that we are fully ready, we’re going to put out her solo project.”
After much anticipation, tvN and Mnet's new music drama, "Monstar," aired its first episode on May 17th at 9:50PM in Korea. The music drama stars BEAST's rapper Junhyung, who was said to be chosen for the role because of similarities to the character including his ability to write and compose his own songs. Rookie actress Ha Yeonsoo, who was chosen because of her fresh image, plays the female lead.
On May 17th, before the first episode of the drama aired, Part 1 of the "Monstar" OST was released. The first single of the drama, "The Old Days," is sung by Junhyung, BTOB, and Ha Yeonsoo. "The Old Days" is a track that begins with the sounds of an acoustic guitar and features Ha Yeonsoo's innocent vocals. When Junhyung and BTOB join in, the song changes to an upbeat track, and Ha Yeonsoo returns to the song in the end

YG Entertainment is continuing its talks with various Hollywood stars. This time, it was Will Smith and his son, Jadon Smith.
The father and son who arrived in Korea for the promotion of their new film, 'After Earth,' met with YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk even before any other official schedule. Interestingly, it was upon the request of the Smiths, who came in with a lot of knowledge about YG Entertainment.
The talk went on for about four hours, raising speculations that something could be in the works. On May 8, a wedding photo of Taeyeon and Lee Yeon Hee were found floating around on several online communities. The two, looking like an adorable newlywed couple, beautifully smiled for the cameras.
