After receiving a lot of love for her “School 2013” OST song, “Don’t Think You’re Alone,” Kim Bo Kyung once again marked her strong OST presence with a new “Two Weeks” OST track.
Kim Bo Kyung sang “Heart Hit” for the MBC drama “Two Weeks” as she displayed her high quality and unique vocals that touches listeners.
“Heart Hit” is the theme song for Seo In Hye (played by Park Ha Sun), who is hurting over a lost love.
The track starts off with a quiet and soft piano accompaniment and later on, bursts into emotion at the climax. “Heart Hit” is composed by Kim Bum Joo, who has worked on other OSTs for “49 Days” and “I Hear Your Voice
What a day! Two girl-groups and one sub-unit released their teasers on the 25th, foreshadowing the upcoming battle of B-list girl groups this spring. First up, we have 4Minute returning to their “hip hop” roots with “What’s Your Name?” While the MV is a bit too cutesy to be classified as true “hip hop,” they tried to demonstrate girl-power by asking for the guy’s name. And yes, Hyuna is practicing hard to show off her dance skills.
Despite all the controversy regarding T-ara, their sub-unit N4 debuts with “Jeon Won (Country side) Diary,” which is the exact opposite of what I was expecting! In fact, now I’m more intrigued to see how these ladies bring together farm life with their addictive bubble gum track
Singer Psy did not make the final cut for Time Magazine‘s ‘100 Most Influential People in the World‘ 2013 edition.
Time Magazine released their picks on April 18th, but Psy’s name was not listed in their final 100. The magazine recently had a poll on their website asking visitors to choose who they thought were the most influential people of 2013 after which the editors chose the final list under their own criteria. Psy did well in terms of online votes, placing 7th out of the 151 candidates with 28,448 fan votes to vouch for him.
The ‘Time 100′ is divided into the categories: ‘Leaders’, ‘Heroes’, ‘Artists’, and ‘Thinkers’, listing the most influential people around the world for those categories
The ladies of Gavy NJ have returned after the release of their repackaged 6th album last year with their new single “Farewell Cinema“!
This marks the first official release from the group for 2013 and is sure to impress you once more with the powerful and emotional vocals presented through the song.
Make sure to give it a listen as you watch the music video that accompanies the release!
Things picked up again in the second week of April as there were a bunch of come backs including one of the most anticipated… PSY’s follow up to ”Gangnam Style,” with “Gentleman.” The song is not as catchy as “Gangnam Style,” but I’m thinking a good MV can make it a big hit, too. There was also the debut of a highly anticipated new drama, more scandals, and more of your favorite male celebrities leaving for their military service–scary time to enlist with tensions in the North the way they are.
Here’s your Week in Review of some of the events that happened the past week in Korean Entertainment in case you missed some of it because of you know… life

We’re half way through the month of March and half way through the slew of K-pop comebacks, too. A couple of things that just missed the cut: Jung In‘s comeback MV for “Those Obvious Words” starring Tiger JK and Jo Eun-ji, the release of a Running Man manhwa, this pic of Jaejoong that he might have mistakenly uploaded to Twitter, and Se7en‘s last photo shoot from L’OFFICIEL HOMMES where he shaves his head in preparation of his enlistment.
The following are the top 5 Things in K-pop that happened last week that I think were a bit more special than the rest
