On April 3rd, YG entertainment revealed that Psy“s Chinese version of his 2005 song “Father” hit No. 1 on the Chinese QQ Music”s weekly music video chart,
Being released on March 26, the music video of “Father” topped the chart for the week of March 25-April 2 with 1.01 million views, beating other popular Chinese singers like Wang Leehom and Hu Xia, proving viewers” interest toward Psy.
Father” music video tells a story of a father who sacrifices himself to support his family in a cartoon, touching the hearts of any music fans.
Meanwhile, the song itself also took first place on QQ Music”s weekly chart for K-pop category.
