Cast members and crew of the SBS drama "I Hear Your Voice" will travel to Phuket, Thailand, to celebrate the end of the popular drama.
The weekday drama was originally scheduled for a 16-episode run, but when SBS executives ordered two more episodes, scriptwriter Park Hye-ryeon offered to use her additional payments to take everyone on a trip.
"Before filming started, we talked about taking a trip together if the viewership rate went over 15 percent", said one official at SBS to Ilgan Sports, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily. "As ratings went way over 20 percent, everyone can happily enjoy the vacation".
Actor Lee Jong-suk, who played one of the lead characters, will not be able to join the trip due to other engagements.

Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda KotbKathie Lee & Hoda Booze Dry Spell Ends with ‘Winesday’
Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb have concluded their long month on-air sobriety with two large glasses of wine. The ladies have given up drinking on Today's show after Ladies Home Journal asked to sober up to promote heart health.
However the challenge didn't extend to off the set. "What helped them was that that they continued to drink," Savannah Guthrie said during the festivities. "Behind the set and during commercials. I think the fact that they didn't stay sober during their month of sobriety really eased the tension around here."
The four hours of daily sobriety seems to have left an impression to fellow "Today" show hosts.

Never the one to miss out on a joke, Super Junior's Eunhyuk made everyone laugh by mentioning the IU scandal while on SBS' "Might Heart" on Jan. 15.
On the hit talk show that back in 2009 Eunhyuk was about "235th" on portal Web site search ranking.
"However, I think I'm ranked a bit higher now", joked the Super Junior member with nuances to the IU-Eunhyuk scandal that broke in November when the young diva accidentally uploaded an intimate picture of the two before quickly deleting it.
Since then IU and Eunhyuk have both maintained their silence while IU's agency said that the picture was taken when Eunhyuk was paying the young singer a visit when she was sick at home.

It wasn’t unheard of for K-pop celebrities to already have and actively use Twitter accounts, but lately the trend is increasing even more, giving foreign K-pop fans the chance to follow their idols more closely and get to know more and more about them:
On June 15th, for example, official Twitter accounts for BIGBANG and 2NE1 (respectively @YG_GlobalVIP and @GlobalBlackjack) were created, as a reference and news source for fans all over the world to look up to and learn information from.
Twitter was already a very popular social network, used daily globally, but Korean celebrities most of the time used to prefer specific Korean portals, in the past, to hang around in the net, which most of the non-Korean speaking audiences couldn’t reach or understand.
The more or less recent rising attention towards a more international portal like Twitter obviously expresses a bigger desire from the industry to get attention from overseas fans, and also more willingness from the single artists to open up and get closer with the foreign public, sharing thoughts, personal experiences, or even simple gags
