Netizens think 'Produce 101' center boy's self-composed song sounds like GOT7's 'Hard Carry'

'Produce 101' has been caught in yet another controversy.

On the 15th's episode, the long-awaited trainees from Brand New Music finally got to show their talents off. The group included Lee Dae Hwi, the center boy for the "Pick Me" stage. Lee Dae Hwi revealed that he'd composed and wrote the lyrics to the song himself, and choreography was created by Park Woo Jin, who is also part of the team.

However, after the show aired, many people realized that the song sounded very much like GOT7's "Hard Carry". Not only so, but the choreography was similar as well. Top-voted comments included comments such as, "This sounds so much like 'Hard Carry'," "The shaking choreography looks a lot like 'Hard Carry'," "Hard Carry, hey! Wait, what?", "This song is just 'Hard Carry.' Lee Dae Hwi composed this song? He needs to explain himself," and more.

He has gathered a following on Facebook of over 1 million likes. There, he often uploads his famous selfies with his fake girlfriend.

In many of his photos, he can be seen twisting his arms and legs to make it look like hes holding the hand of a woman, and he has even worn nail polish and various accessories to make his photos look extra convincing.
