"You didn't do plastic surgery, right?" Yoo Sang Moo, the host of the South Korean television program "Beatles Code," asked Ivy on Monday's episode of the program.
Her response was boldly honest.
"I can't say that I didn't," Ivy answered. "However, it's not like how people think and that I got a whole new face."
The singer claims she was born with many of the features that fans assumed she accomplished with plastic surgery.
"As you can see from my childhood photo, even my double eyelids are natural," Ivy said

According to reports in local news agencies, the two will be in the Korean musical adaptation of the Hollywood film “Ghost,” in which they will take on the characters Sam Witt and Molly Jensen, made famous by Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore respectively.
The 1990 film “Ghost” was adapted into a musical in 2011, premiering in West End, London, England. The production has since premiered in Broadway, and following the close of the London production in October 2012, is set to go on tour in the United Kingdom. Starring Infinite's L and SISTAR's Dasom, the music video focuses on a sweet, innocent love story. The video was directed by Song Wonyoung, who has also worked with other popular Korean artists such as Ivy and NAUL. "Love Blossom" also marks the second time that SISTAR member Dasom has starred in K.Will's music video, as she was also in K.Will's "Please Don't" with Seo Inguk.
"Love Blossom" will serve as the title track for Part 2 of K.Will's third album. Considered to be of the urban soul genre, "Love Blossom" is an upbeat song that showcases K.Will's smooth and rich vocals. The song was also written by Kim Dohoon, who has written some of other K
Singer Ivy, who just days earlier announced her comeback, has secured the role of “Roxy” in the musical “Chicago.”
As she steps back onto the Korean music scene, Ivy will play the leading role in the Broadway musical from June 10 to Oct. 7 at D-Cube Arts Center in Sindorim in Seoul.
The news came after Ivy had auditioned for the role before the Broadway staff.
“Roxy needs to be sexy and lovable at the same time. We thought that Ivy captured the essence of Roxy perfectly,” said a production spokesperson.
“When I saw ‘Chicago’ for the first time as a musical in 2008, I thought I’d die totally content, so long as I was able to star in it. It’s my first major musical role — so it’s daunting — but because of the great cast members, I feel assured,” said Ivy
