Director Goo Hye Sun’s film, “The Peach Tree,” (2012) was invited to the 2013 New York Asian Film Festival, according to TV Report.
The New York Asian Film Festival showcases various Asian films to the American public, creating artistic cultural awareness. “The Peach Tree” will be screened at the New York Lincoln Center on July 9.
The official homepage describes “The Peach Tree” as “a romance movie that will make you feel sensibility more than ever before.” Critics claim that “the actors, the musicians, the writer, and the director are all versatile artists. Goo Hye Sun creates the story of two men, trapped in one body, portraying romance with a dark twist.”

Baek Ahyeon will finally be making a return with a new album on June 17th. This is her newest album release since her debut with the mini-album "I'm Baek" in September 2012.
Her image teasers were specially revealed through Naver Music on June 13th, which revealed a sunny, cute looking Baek Ahyeon accompanied by a similar drawn character. The tracklist to her upcoming album is also revealed through the image teasers.
The tracklist include the title song "A Good Boy," "Tell Me (말해줘)," "Because of You (너때문에)," "I Like It (맘에 들어)," and "Like Oxygen (산소처럼)."

"Gangnam Style", the song by rapper Psy that has sent the whole world into a frenzy of emulating his horse-riding dance, has emerged as the most searched keyword on Google in Korea this year, Google Korea said Wednesday.
The next three most trending search terms were all TV dramas. No. 2 was "The Sun and the Moon" which shot actor Kim Soo-hyeon-I to instant stardom. This was followed by "Fashion King", starring Sin Se-kyeong and Yoo Ah-in, and "Dream High", which featured a number of young K-pop singers#.
Fifth place went to the action role-playing video game "Diablo III", which hundreds of people queued up for overnight to get a copy of when it was released earlier this year in Korea.

Actress Ku Hye-sun has been appointed as the Goodwill Ambassdor to the Internatinal 3D Festival (I3DF) 2012, her agency, YG Entertainment, revealed on Nov. 30.I3DF is jointly organized by Korea Communications Commission and Busan City. The international event on 3D will be held from Dec 6-7, 2012 at Busan Cinema Center. I3DF consists of various events including the preview of 3D content and conferences.
Ku will visit Busan on Dec. 6 for the appointment ceremony. She will also hold an autograph event.Ku made her debut as an actress/director with two feature films, “Peach Tree”, and “Magic”, as well as a short film in 3D titled “Fragment of Memories”. “Fragment of Memories” was selected as one of Korea's outstanding 3D films, and will be shown at the Cinemountain in Busan Cinema Center during the I3DF event
On November 30th, YG Entertainment revealed that actress Goo Hye Sun has been selected to be the honorary ambassador for the ‘International 3D Festival 2012‘!
The company’s representatives announced, “As an active director behind movies like ‘Magic‘, ‘Peach Tree‘, and ‘Pieces of Memory‘, Goo Hye Sun has been inaugurated as the ’13DF’ promotional ambassador. She’ll be attending the opening ceremony on December 6th along with a fan signing event.”
‘ID3F’ is a festival celebrating Korea’s 3D content producers, the event will take place in Busan on December 6th and 7th. Goo Hye Sun will also presenting her own film titled, ‘Pieces of Memory’ at the event

Actor Lee Min Ho candidly talked about his feelings when acting with an older actress.
In a recent interview with the celebrity magazine @Star 1, Lee said, “I try not to let age difference cause awkward feelings when I’m around older actresses.”
For his appearance in Faith (2012), Personal Taste (2010), and Boys Over Flowers (2009) with Kim Hee Sun, Son Ye Jin, and Ku Hye Sun, Lee has attracted much attention because he was always younger than the lead actress. But at the same time, his ability to engage in a good bonding relationship with older actress gave him a nickname Chemi-Shin. The term is to describe someone who is good at bonding with others and it is a compound for chemistry and shin which means “God” in Korean.

A-JAX is a rookie group composed of seven (7) members and is under DSP Entertainment. The group is composed of Hyeongkon, Jaehyung, Yunyoung, Hyojun, Sungmin, Seungjin and Seungyub. They debuted last June 2, 2012 with the song, “One 4 U” as their promotional track. They attracted attention with their other song, “Never Let Go” featuring labelmate KARA’s Goo Hara as the lead character in the music video. They are also the first Korean idol group to have debuted simultaneously in Korea and Japan. They have also released another digital single titled, “Hot Game”.
Now, they have been exciting fans for their upcoming comeback. DSP Entertainment revealed that A-JAX will be making a comeback with their first mini album, “2MYX”
