The comic chemistry between So Ji Sub and Gong Hyo Jin combined with afast-paced script kept audiences tuning in for more. And theyeventually wanted more than 16 episodes.

Since the KBS2 two-episode drama "Expect Dating" was shown oppositethe ghostly romantic comedy hit "The Master's Sun," you might say thatit did not stand a ghost of a chance. So it's not surprising that itonly achieved a 3.2 percent in the ratings.
"Expect Dating," a romantic comedy about a woman who consults adating expert for advice, featured singer BoA in her first kdrama role.
It also starred Choi Daniel as the dating expert and ZE:A's Siwan asBoA's potential boyfriend.
Viewers who did tune in found the comedy enjoyable but its charmscould not compete with established programs,especially "The Master's Sun," which held the time slot lead since itstarted.

ZE:AZE:A to Finish Activities Next Week and Begin Individual Schedules
Group ZE:A will finish their "Ghost of the Wind" activities next week and begin individual promotions.
Member Im Siwan will be starting his acting role in a drama while others will be making appearances on tv shows.
Others will be doing musicals as well as movies and hold busy schedules.
While most members will be doing individual activities, the agency is also debating on releasing solo or unit groups as well.
On the other hand, ZE:A recently released, Illusion, and is wrapping up activities.

So Ji Sub does an impressive job of playing the cold distant president of Kingdom Mall in the popular drama "The Master's Sun."
With a dismissive flick of his hand that makes it look like he'sswatting a fly, he can tell poor ghost-tormented Gong Hyo Jin to getlost.
He was also a distant, secretive character when he played the dualrole of detective/cyber hacker Kim Woo-Hyun and Park Gi-Young in"Phantom."
But if you are only discovering this actor in "The Master's Sun," there's a whole other side to him that you may not know about.

The first episode, "Drama Special - A Strange Relationship" on the 21st stars Park Seong-woong and Yoo In-yeong. The two of them are involved in the second mysterious death in an apartment.
The pictures revealed are from a scene where detective Soo-hyeon (Park Seong-woong) experiences two deaths since his moving in. This was when Jeong from house 304, died. Yoo In-yeong starred in this episode again based on her relationship with producer Lee Jung-seob whom she worked with in the previous drama special, "Drama Special - A Faded Memory".
The site was somewhat sincere on this day. Park Seong-woong takes on the role of Soo-hyeon, a detective who has been put on probation but releases his tracking abilities with the death of Jeong
In the drama ‘Master’s sun (written by Hong Jeong-eun, Hong Mi-ran, directed by Jin Hyeok)’, Kong Hyo-jin revealed her past with multi-faceted talents.
Kong is enthusiastically playing as Tae Kong-sil, a lead role, who has lived in seclusion after she saw ghosts in an accident in the new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama. She revealed that she was totally different bright girl with talent before the unfortunate accident and it is getting a lot of attention. This scene will be aired in the 4th episode on August 15.
Kang woo (Seo In-guk), who tries to get in with Kong-sil, found her old look in her pictures. He was surprised at her looks cheerful and intelligent compared to the gloomy and dark girl living alone working in the complex shopping mall Kingdom as cleaner and sometimes acting strangely.

According to Nielsen Korea on the 15th, the third episode of "Master's Sun" increased in percentage by 0.8% to 15.2% compared to the previous episode.
The first episode started off with 13.6% and has been showing a steady increase since then. Will it be able to rate past 20% like the drama "I Hear Your Voice"?
Joong-won (So Ji-sub) started believing that Kong-sil (Kong Hyo-jin) saw ghosts and helped to relieve a ghost with pink shoes.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV drama "Sword and Flower" rated 6.4% and MBC "Two Weeks" rated 10.0%.
On April 15, Joo Won and the cast and staff of the upcoming musical, Ghost gathered at the Plaza Hotel in Seoul for the press conference.
After focusing on mainly dramas, Joo Won will be returning to his roots and appearing in a musical for the first in a very long time.
“The musical stage was my first stage as a professional and it is a place like home. All the seniors will know this, but I cannot completely explain the bliss or the memories that exist when standing on this stage,” said Joo Won.
