Orange Caramel have made waves with their latest comeback, My Copycat. The charming “Where’s Waldo/Spot-the-difference” concept has won a lot of praise from fans, including us writers at Seoulbeats. And now, they’ve done something with My Copycat that they haven’t done before: pushing their B-side, “The Gangnam Avenue”.
“The Gangnam Avenue” appears to be quite an odd sock for an Orange Caramel release. The hallmarks that fans have come to associate with Orange Caramel are gone. There’s no quirk, no cuteness, no bubbling sweetness. “The Gangnam Avenue” is a song rife with lyrical dissonance — a breakup number with an energetic techno beat. Yet that exact combination dominates Orange Caramel’s B-sides. For example, “So Sorry” off Catallena and “Bubble Bath” from Lipstick. Orange Caramel filmed the Chinese variety show “Day Day Up“!
The trio performed “Catallena” on the show, dressed in their cupcake outfits. Nana then represented the group and participated in the actual filming of the variety show, boxing with the other models on the show and partaking in the other games. Nana also awed by being able to copy all of Christy Chung“s exercise moves accurately.

Bright and bubbly girl group Orange Caramel will be lending their voices for SBS’ Wednesday-Thursday miniseries “It’s Okay, It’s Love.”
According to their agency Pledis Entertainment, the girls will participate in the OST with a song titled “Tonight.” The track will be released on September 10 at noon through various online music stores.
“Tonight” is described as an extremely catchy pop song with elements of electronic music. Thanks to Raina‘s effortless high notes, the song is sure to leave an impression on the listener. The song will be used as background music for scenes taking place at cafés and clubs. ...

Orange Caramel are joining the long list of singers contributing OSTs for SBS drama “It”s Ok It”s Love”.
The girls are providing an electronic pop song titled “Tonight” for the drama which beats create humorous and addictive music. The song is going to be played during the lively and bright scenes from the drama.
The OST “Tonight” by Orange Caramel will be released on September 10 at 12PM kst through various music sites.
Orange Caramel follow up their “My Copycat” MV with a special music video for their other track “The Gangnam Aveneu” off their 4th single album.
The MV depicts an interesting plot where members are street cleaner in daytime but fashionistas at nightime expressing a modern Cinderella theme.
Comedian Jo Seho also makes special appearance to add spice and more entertainment in the plot. Check their newest MV below:
