The fathers and their children held their first filming on January 11 and left for their first vacation together in Okcheon, Chungbuk on the 18th.
As previously confirmed, Yoon Min Soo and Yoon Hoo (9), Sung Dong Il and Sung Bin (7), Kim Sung Joo and Kim Min Yool (6), Ahn Jung Hwan and Ahn Ri Hwan (7), Ryu Jin and Lim Chan Hyung (8), and Kim Jin Pyo and Kim Kyu Won (5) looked like they all got along well and ready for their bonding trip with Sung Bin, appearing as if she could fill Ji Ah"s shoes with her playfulness with Yoon Hoo
After more than a year, the loveable children and their families of MBC"s "Dad, Where Are You Going?" took their last trip together in the last episode of season 1 of the program.
Climbing to the highest point of Jeju Island, the cast reflected on the past year. "I got so much more out of this than I expected," Sung Dong Il said. "The way my kid changed, how we all changed, was amazing. 2013 was an unforgettable year."
"I didn"t know what the role of a father meant, but I realized that just because you grow older doesn"t mean that you"re a better father. I learned a lot, and I"m thankful that I was able to have this opportunity to create memories with my young son." Kim Sung Joo said.

The stills show the fathers and children trying to savor every moment of their final vacation together while hiking on snowy mountains. The families then warmed up their bodies and hearts around a campfire where they played a truth game. During the truth game, the fathers and children shared how much they mean to each other, and Ji Ah finally revealed her ideal type. Sung Dong Il was carried away by his emotions as he shared, "I was choking my tears back."
The season one finale of "Dad, Where Are You Going?" will air on the 19th followed by the season two premiere on the 26th!
Lee Jong Hyuk Apologizes to Netizen Who Criticized Him on Latest "Daddy Where Are You Going" Broadcast
Actor Lee Jong Hyuk kept his cool by apologizing with wit to a netizen who attacked him with some criticism about the most recent “Daddy Where Are You Going” episode.
On the “Daddy Where Are You Going” episode that aired on December 8, Lee Jong Hyuk and his son Lee Junsu experienced a homestay with a New Zealand family. Lee Jong Hyuk and Lee Junsu showed that they were capable of breaking down the language and culture barriers by having a great time with the family.
However, right after the episode was aired, a particular netizen mentioned Lee Jong Hyuk on Twitter and said, “You disgraced our country, how embarrassing. What do you think you’re doing? You sit at the breakfast table without even washing up. And why did you wash your kid’s face at the kitchen sink? Ugh, so embarrassing
There have been rumors of “Daddy! Where Are You Going?” starting up a second season.
On October 30, a particular news agency reported, “The five father and son pairs will be stepping down from the show and the production team is working on recruiting new celebrities and their children for a second season.”
But the production team commented, “We have not even held a meeting to discuss possible new cast members. We also have not even discussed having a ‘graduation’ system for the current cast.” However, they did state that they are positively reviewing the need for a second season.
Kim Yoo Gon PD commented, “The current cast cannot be on this program forever so it is true that we need new members in the future.”
Meanwhile, “Daddy! Where Are You Going?” first aired in January of this year, featuring Sung Dong Il, Lee Jong Hyuk, Kim Sung Joo, Song Jong Gook, Yoon Min Soo and their adorable children, Sung Joon, Lee Junsu, Kim Min Gook, Song Jia and Yoon Hoo, respectively
According to MBC, Kwang Hee has been cast in the station’s new Sunday nights variety show, Dad! Where Are You Going?.
The new show centers on a group of famous male stars, and their respective children, embarking on overnight trips together. Cast so far with their children are Kim Sung Joo, Lee Jong Hyuk, Song Jong Kook and Yoon Min Soo.
Kwang Hee will play an uncle figure to the kids in the show and is expected to bring plenty of laughs with his antics.
For Kwang Hee, his joining of the show will make it his third on MBC he is a fixed member of, the others being Kneedrop Guru and We Got Married. He is also a fixed member of SBS’ Star King
