With their latest effort, What turns you on?, CNBLUE has returned to the place it all began for them: Japan. Four years ago, the band formed in Seoul and then headed west, seeking their fortunes on the neighbor’s turf. They debuted with their first mini-album, Now or Never, followed in quick order by Voice, but to little fanfare. Licking their wounds yet determined to come back and claim the victory, they made their way back to Seoul, where they released Bluetory and struck gold. Then back to Japan they went, serving up their first Japanese studio album, Thank U, which fared better than its predecessors. Racking up frequent flyer miles, they returned to South Korea, releasing another hit mini-album, Bluelove. And this pattern of going to and fro between countries has continued for the past few years, resembling one of the longest (geographically and chronologically) Pong match ever

The boys of CNBlue just recorded and released a cute and playful music video for “K-Food Song.”
As we previously reported, the boys of CNBLUE are promoting Korean Food worldwide as they’re the new faces of Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp‘s global brand K-Food. As a part of the campaign, the boys produced a song themselves! Leader Jung Yong Hwa composed and wrote the lyrics to the songs to help spread K-Food.
The lyrics of the song express K-Food as a healthy, enjoyable food, and the music includes CNBlue’s signature bright sound and strong beat.
The song has been released on K-Food’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page.

CNBLUE, Japan, Oricon, What Turns You OnCNBLUE Ranks Number 2 on Japan Oricon Daily Album Chart
Band CNBLUE has ranked number 2 on the Japan Oricon daily album chart with their new album.
On September 3, Oricon revealed that CNBLUE's 2nd album, What turns you on?, had ranked number 2 on the charts.
They had ranked number 2 on the day of the album release and had stepped down a few stops and is finally back to the number 2 spot.
Girl group KARA was seen at number 6 on the charts with their 4th album, FANTASTIC GIRLS.
CNBLUE's new album includes their title song, "One More Time" along with member's self-composed songs for a total of 11 songs.
The day before the Blue Moon World Tour Concert in Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur, the Korean rock group CNBLUE, attended the press conference and greeted the members of media cheerfully. Starting off with a series of 'Apa Khabar?' (How are you?), the members, Lee Jungshin, Lee Jonghyun, Jung Yonghwa and Kang Minhyuk introduced themselves individually. They talked about being in Malaysia for the second time and having their first solo concert here and hoped for fans' support. Minhyuk even expressed his eagerness to try satay before he leaves, because he likes grilled meat.
During the press conference, CNBLUE talked about the reason they chose the name 'Blue Moon' for their world tour. Minhyuk said, "Blue moon only comes once in a while but sometimes there are two full moons

CNBLUE, who has been previously appointed as the new promotional models for Korean food brand, released a commercial promoting Korean cuisine worldwide in a more attractive and charming way!
The members showcase their individual charms as they promote a total of 27 products including ginseng, paprika, mushrooms and milk. The CF will go on air via satellite TV in China, Hong Kong and Vietnam as well as global channels such as CNN, BBC, and the National Geographic Channel.
Leader Jung Yonghwa said, “Usually when we are abroad, we always enjoy the food because the Korean Agriculture and Fisheries do export a lot and we are proud to be able to promote K-Food overseas in the future.”

According to an August 13 announcement by their agency, FNC Entertainment, CNBlue will release a second Japanese studio album, titled What Turns You On?, on August 28.Seven of the 11 songs on the album were written by Jung Yong Wha, including “One More Time,” “Change,” and “Let Me Know,” and the other four are by Lee Jong Hyun, including “Crying Out” and “I Can’t Believe.”
The lead song of the album is “One More Time.” The fact that all the songs were written by members of the group has attracted fans’ attention even before the album’s release. Note that the English version of Jung’s song “Robot” will be included only in the first limited edition.
The album has ranked at the top of the Korean-Asian Pre-order Chart of HMV, a large music distribution company in Japan, since August 5, 20 days before the album’s release
CNBLUE is preparing for another comeback in Japan later this month, and they just unveiled the full music video teaser for upcoming track, “One More Time”.
The group is set to release its second major full-length album ‘What Turns You On?’ on August 28th. The album contains a total of 11 tracks including the title track “One More Time” which was co-produced by Ryo and member Jung Yonghwa.
