It has been rumored that girl group 2NE1 will disband, but YG Entertainment said yesterday that this is groundless.

“It”s not true at all”, said a YG spokesperson.

The rumor began as Minzy, the youngest member of the group, changed her Instagram URL on Thursday from “minzy21mz” to “minzy_mz” and her profile from “official 2NE1 minzy” to “official minzy”.

From the get-go, it’s clear that the group has beefed up their presentation skills. The choreography and performance takes on a theatrical and veiled supernatural theme, which involves intricate moves. I was particularly surprised by Jeongmin — I had no idea he had the sort of skills that he’d put on show. Donghyun also plays a ring-leader sort of character. The red curtains act as backdrop and they’re only parted to reveal the members during their respective segments. It’s almost as if it’s a show or play. Even if the song doesn’t appeal to you, you’d be intrigued by the setup. ...

According to multiple music insiders in an exclusive by Star News on the 16th, CL is planning to advance into the U.S. market in Spring 2015. It has been reported that she has already finished recording some songs, and is planning to release a single for her U.S. debut.

According to the report, CL caught the eye of Scooter Braun, who is also the manager for Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and her labelmate Psy, with her rapping skills, fashion sense, and English fluency. The two will apparently work together for her U.S. debut. ...

Ever since the news of CL“s upcoming U.S. debut and the timing of Minzy“s decision to take out “21” and “2NE1″ from her Instagram & Twitter account and profile, speculations regarding a potential breakup of 2NE1 had been going around. Although Minzy did re-add in “2NE1″ back into the profile description, the speculations continued to grow.

In response, YG Entertainment has spoken to TV Report to deny the breakup rumors and also update fans on Park Bom, as she has been keeping under the radar lately.

Responding to this rumor, recently the speaker of YG Entertainment released a statement denying this news. “2NE1 does not have any matter. The girls are promptly preparing for their upcoming event held in Macau. They’ll be returning as 2NE1”.

Many people raised the concern whether Park Bom still is a part of 2NE1 after her drug scandal, the speaker stated, “Park Bom always is a part of 2NE1, the group can’t continue to achieve success without her. YG Entertainment has officially denied the rumour of 2NE1″s disbandment.

The rumour broke out when fans spotted Minzy deleting the “21” from her Instagram ID “minzy21mz” and “2NE1″ from the description on Twitter accounts, which soon led to everyone to assume that the group would disband soon. Even though she later added back “2NE1″ into her description but the rumour”s still spreading around.

On October 17th, YG Entertainment came out with an official statement about the rumour,”This is an absurd rumour. There”s nothing wrong with 2NE1″ activities. They”re currently in Macau for their schedules. They will make their return as 2NE1 soon”....
