Singer G-Dragon of boy group Big Bang's first solo album, having just been released in Japan, hit second place on the Oricon weekly chart, according to his agency YG Entertainment yesterday.
The album, "Coup D'Etat", sold over 100,000 copies and has become the second most popular album in the first week of December.

Singer-actor Lee Seung Gi has voiced a new MBC nature documentary that will air next week.
Insect, Great Instinct is broadcast network MBC's latest nature documentary that was produced to celebrate the station's 52nd anniversary this year.
The special program will air next Friday at 10pm and centers around the diverse environments in which a variety of insects thrive.
A representative for the documentary's production crew said, "Lee Seung Gi, who is a big fan of documentaries, willingly accepted our offer to narrate the documentary despite his hectic overseas schedule and preparations for his upcoming concert."
This of course is not the first time a top star has participated in the narration of one of MBC's documentaries
