Singers Jung In and Jo Jung-chi, who married last week, hiked Mount Jiri as part of their own special wedding ceremony and honeymoon.
"A couple on the mountain top, bearing the ache that may break our knees", Jo, the groom, wrote on his twitter on Monday night alongside a photo of the couple.
The two, who dated for 11 years before they got married, previously said that they both did not want a big wedding and had planned to substitute a ceremony with hiking the mountain.
Many local celebrities have congratulated the couple on their good news. Model Jang Yoon-ju said she wishes happiness to the couple and is also waiting expectantly to hear the music the two artists are going to bring to fans in future.

Big Bang kicked off its Japanese tour over the weekend in a triumphant manner in Osaka. The group performed 30 songs in shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with individual members returning to the stage for encores to show off their original material.
The band will return to the venue next month from Jan. 11 to 13.
The boy band will have performed six times over the last two months at the Kyocera Dome for some 300,000 fans. This is a significant feat for the K-pop band as it is quite rare to put on six shows at the same venue.
The group performs next at the Fukuoka Dome on Saturday and Sunday, at the Nagoya Dome on Dec. 14 and 15, and then in Tokyo from Dec. 19 to the 21, after which they will take a break.
The group will have performed for 770,000 fans in Japan by the tour's end in January
It’s been a long time coming, and it’s finally here. We’ve whittled down a whopping 800+ contestants to only 14 girls and 12 guys, and the competition is legit.
Our sponsor Nega Network, home of Brown Eyed Girls, Lunafly, and LC9, decided to use their special “Save” option on five girls and one guy from Round 3 – a big congrats to Soompiers CYURI, Carollam94, mzannie, stephaniegx, jyurie, and liyondlai. Curiously enough, several people did not submit their final photo & video for Round 4 – we’ve never seen that happen before! Perhaps they got scared away by the video requirement?
To be honest, we were all a little worried about adding the video component this year, since we had no idea what the entries would be like
Big Bang‘s leader and K-pop scene’s representative fashionista G-Dragon has proved once again that he holds the title for a reason.
On November 25, men’s fashion and style magazine GQ shared their list of “The 10 Best Dressed Men of the Week: 11.25.13” on their website. The article includes photos of ten fashionable male celebrities in stylish outfits, and one of the lucky chosen ones happens to be G-Dragon. His look is from the 2013 MNet Asian Music Awards, and the picture was taken on November 22. For his casual but cool outfit, the idol paired black leather shoes with light jeans, an oversized blazer, and a striped tank top. To finish off his look like a true celebrity, he sports a pair of hip sunglasses and a black cap.
G-Dragon is no stranger to Korean magazines on fashion or style, but being recognized by a global magazine is a significant achievement
2NE1 recently congratulated YG Entertainment’s biggest producer Teddy on his recently publicized relationship with actress Han Ye Seul.
On November 25, the news of Teddy and Han Ye Seul dating broke and drew much public interest. According to reports, the couple began dating six months ago.
On the same day, 2NE1 was being interviewed at a local pub and asked if they knew beforehand that their producer Teddy was dating someone. “We had no idea,” they confessed.
“We see Teddy when he’s at work in the studio, but since we like to joke around a lot – he’s more like an older brother to us. Once we heard the news, we were really surprised. There was nothing different about the way he acted around us. Even while we were working on our music video, he looked over all the details, including our clothes, and didn’t seem the slightest bit different
Actress Park Han Byul has chopped off her lovely locks for the first time in 11 years since her debut for her new drama.
Park Han Byul’s long, straight hair was her trademark so this change of hair is becoming a hot topic. Her new style is for the upcoming SBS daily drama, “A Well Grown Daughter,” where she will play the role of Jang Hana (who also goes by the name Jang Eun Sung).
“A Well Grown Daughter” is about a daughter of a big corporation, Jang Hana, who has to pretend to be a son (Jang Eun Sung), in order to inherit the company.
Park Han Byul’s first filming took place in a arts high school for a scene that introduces Jang Eun Sung, the school’s ulzzang. Sporting a boy’s uniform and a short hairstyle, Park Han Byul said that she did feel awkward, but still received praise from the director and staff for perfectly transforming into her character
EXO has been through some big wins and some losses this week. First, they were at the MelOn Music Awards, and won themselves recognition for being one of the most recognized and popular groups in Korea as of late.
The EMA's has been a topic of discussion for a while. The conclusion for the fanwars has finally come to a hault when EXO lost not to Justin Bieber or One Direction, but to a Chinese female solo singer Chris Lee. Though the loss has been made clear, EXO was more than accepting of the entire ordeal, and still seem to be one of the most popular boybands existing as of the moment.
Lots happened during the awards. Apart from the outstanding performance by the group (and the fact that they are just getting better and better each day, I mean, come on), there was also a drama introduction to their performances that I think is safe to say very heavily inspired by the movie Twilight
Here’s your weeky recap of some of the biggest stories that occurred this past week in the K-popiverse. Which unfortuntey for some–is a place where everyone knows your nameNews broke that soccer star Park Ji-sung would be marrying his girlfriend, SBS announcer Kim Min-ji next May. His reps denied the rumors, admitting that the two are planning to marry, but have not yet set a date.
