Daesung tweeted through the YGEX (YG Entertainment and AVEX) on July 16, “Because of you all, my album ranked in at #1 on the Oricon daily album chart,” along with the photo of himself looking obviously overjoyed above.
The Big Bang member, known as D-LITE in Japan, posed with the congratulatory cake and fruit he received for his album”s success on the day of its release. According to YG Entertainment, his album “D”slove” sold 30,099 copies on the first day, outperforming the competition....
Big Bang’s Taeyang and Daesung will be making their first joint appearance on NHK’s “Music Japan.”
Last June 28th, YG Entertainment announced that the Taeyang and Daesung will be performing their own solo tracks on the show, which will be held at Tokyo Shibuya’s NHK Hall on July 21st.
Taeyang and Daesung have attended the program with Big Bang in the past, but this will be the first time that the two will be on the same show as solo artists.
