Trouble Maker (4minute’s HyunA and B2ST’s Hyunseung) has invaded major Korean music charts with their latest track “Now”!
On October 28th at midnight, Trouble Maker released second mini album ‘Chemistry’ and its title track “Now” immediately shot to the top of Korea’s biggest music websites including Melon, Mnet, Bugs, Soribada, Olleh Music, Naver Music, Daum Music, Cyworld Music, Monkey3 and Genie.
Not only that, the hot usic video for “Now” has also racked up over a million views on Youtube in less than twelve hours since the release, succeeding to catch attention from music fans with its sexy concept.
“Now” (or “There Is No Tomorrow”) is a fantasy-like track that displays the characteristics of saxophone sound and strings, portraying relationship of a couple in a monodrama
JYJ‘s Jaejoong and B2ST‘s Junhyung put their friendship on display, warming the hearts of fans and filling the stomachs of the cast and staff!
Jaejoong ordered 100 servings of chicken and pizza for Junhyung’s drama ‘Monstar‘ to eat at around midnight. Since Jaejoong and Junhyung had always been close friends, Jaejoong gifted the drama set to show his support.
To thank him, Junhyung took to Twitter to write, “It’s a secret that the person who ordered chicken and pizza for our filming set was Jaejoong hyung“, spoiling the secret himself
Questions of fairness have been raised for the ‘2012 Melon Music Awards‘.
The award that raised the biggest question was the ‘Netizen Popularity Award‘. According to netizen votes, JYJ‘s Junsu ranked #1 with 185,519 votes for his ‘Nice Guy‘ OST, ”Love Is Like Snow“. However, the award went instead to B2ST with “Midnight“, who only received 147,310 votes.
Unlike the other awards in which netizen votes only count for 30% of the final result with 70% coming from music charts, netizen votes count double (60%) for the ‘Netizen Popularity Award’, so many fans are questioning the outcome. An industry representative who requested anonymity said, “It looks like it’s a similar situation to how Junsu’s group JYJ used to receive limitations by his previous label“
Junhyung‘s friends took to Twitter and wished him a happy birthday!
The B2ST rapper was born on December 19th, and his friends rushed to wish him a happy birthday as soon as the clock struck midnight in Korea.
Dongwoon tweeted, “I’m together with him, but happy birthday to @Joker891219!“. Kikwang followed suit, writing, “I’m here too keke. Happy birthday kekekekekekeke ^^“. Doojoon also wrote, “Today is election day!!!!!! And the opening day of ‘Marrying the Mafia‘!!!!!! But it’s also the the birthday of my most dear friend Yong-pal!!! I hope the day is filled with only good things!!“.

The boys of B2ST have just concluded their local promotional activities for “Beautiful Night” and are currently gearing up to release a new Japanese single next month.
B2ST will release a Japanese version of “Midnight” in October 17th as their third Japanese single.
On September 28, a PV for the track has been revealed, showing the group’s concept and choreography.
“Midnight” was originally released as part of the group’s latest Korean mini album ‘Midnight Sun’. The new single will be available in three different editions; regular CD only, and limited editions [A,B,C].

B2ST will finish advertising for their 5th mini-album ‘Midnight Sun‘ on September 2nd KST, and will be preparing for their next album.
This is the last time the boys has sung “Beautiful Night” on music programs this week. It will start with KBS‘ ‘Music Bank‘ on the 31st KST and end with SBS‘ ‘Inkigayo‘ on the 2nd. It is believed that fans won’t have to wait their performance for long because at the end of this year, they will give the market a new album.

BEAST has made a solid career with the dark, and beastly genre of music they've been releasing since their 2nd mini album, Shock Of The New Era, but this time around they took on a happier, party ready image especially with their title track, "It's a Beautiful Night"

B2ST released their fifth EP Midnight Sun on July 22 and the lyrics for “It’s Not Me” drew a lot of attention from the public.
People are guessing that the lyrics are about official couple, Yong Jun Hyung and KARA’s Goo Hara.
The lyrics include a man trying to release his girlfriend’s anger saying, “I don’t know why you’re upset after what you’ve heard.” “I’ve never been to club in Hongdae. After a year and two month hiatus, B2ST is coming back with many ‘dangerous weapon’.
At first, on July 22nd, B2ST released fifth EP, entitled Midnight Sun, which features six new tracks telling various stories of love and life. This album won much love and praise from fans and hoped to be one of the best album of 2012.
Most recently, B2ST’s agency have announced that they’re going to have a special gift for their fans, “B2ST will be making their debut as mahnhwa characters through the work of artist Jena!”
Scheduled for release on August 22nd, the members will be the leading characters in Jena’s upcoming mahnhwa series, ‘The Beast‘.
