Recently, the Mnet’s Asian Music Award (commonly abbreviated as MAMA) has spilled the beans on the musician lineups for the award ceremony.

The production crew of MAMA has revealed the first three idols’ names including EXO, G-Dragon and Taeyang. Ealier this year, EXO has been praised for its hit song, “Overdose”; Meanwhile, BIGBANG member TaeYang drove people to crazy with his release of “Eyes, Nose, Lips”....

Recently, Namoo Actors, Lee Jun Ki“s management agency revealed that Lee Jun Ki will hold the Asia fan meeting tour ‘Together’ on November 29th.
Lee Jun Ki will meet his Asian fans in Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya of Japan and Guangzhou, Wuhan, and Beijing of China. A rep from his agency stated, “The name of this tour, Together means Lee Jun Ki wants to go together with fans for a long time”.
Lee Jun Ki is said that he was preparing many things, from a speech, dancing, to singing for the fan meeting. The specific schedule will be revealed through the official SNS of Namoo Actors.

Softbank acquires Dramafever in historic moment for Hallyu Wave

Dramafever has been acquired by Softbank, after 5 years of launching and quickly becoming the #1 streaming website for K-Dramas.

Dramafever launched in 2009 with brothers Hyun and Suk Park, and Seung Bak. The startup has since grown to become the most popular streaming service for K-Dramas, as well as other dramas and videos.

TechCrunch reports that the company is rumored to have been acquired for between $80 million to $140 million, from past acquisition rumors. Softbank has a market capitalization of well over $92 billion USD, according to Wikipedia. The founder and CEO, Masayoshi Son, is a Korean-Japanese who is considered the “richest man in Japan”. In a statement to TechCrunch, Softbank revealed, ”In five short years since going live, DramaFever has built an impressive internet-based streaming video business operating at scale. [Co-founders] Seung Bak and Suk Park have a proven business model in a dynamic industry, and we look forward to helping them bring their highly popular video content to an even larger global audience,” SoftBank said in a statement.” In related news, Dramafever announced they co-produced the latest hit drama, “Tomorrow’s Cantabile” in a press statement. The company revealed:

We are happy to announce that DramaFever will be co-producing Tomorrow’s Cantabile, the Korean adaptation of the manga Nodame Cantabile, in conjunction with KBS. Starting this upcoming Monday, October 13, the series will air exclusively on DramaFever throughout North America and South America.  ...
