Gong Minyoung, the older sister of 2NE1’s Minzy, is set to debut on October 14th with the solo album titled, “Rebirth”. Gong Minyoung uploaded a teaser clip of one of the tracks, titled “Overcome” on Instagram on October 9th, which was later re-posted by her younger sister Minzy, of 2NE1. The 15-second teaser clip of the song exemplified her strong vocals and also features some strong beats. On her Instagram post, Gong Minyoung also mentioned that it was a Gospel Album. Earlier today, YG Entertainment released the highlight medley for their upcoming album, :CRUSH” set to be released in Japan. The album which is a mastered version of their Korean originals is composed of ten tracks including tittle tracks, “Come Back Home,” “CRUSH,” Gotta Be You” and more.

As 2NE1 fans anticipate the group”s Japanese album release, a new music video for “Crush” has appeared online.
After releasing music videos for “Come Back Home,” “Happy,” and “Gotta Be You,” 2NE1 will follow up with a clip for “Crush,” using the Japanese version of the song.
“After they release their Japanese version of “Crush” on June 25—for the first time in about two years—they are to kick off their World Tour “All or Nothing” at Yokohama Arena on July 5 and 6, and at Kobe World Memorial Hall on July 12 and 13,” said an official blog post on YG-Life....

Recently, CL conducted an interview with Hypebeast TV regarding 2NE1″s, and her own, musical projects.
“We worked with [YG producer] Teddy,” said CL regarding 2NE1″s newest album, “Crush.” “He makes most of 2NE1″s music, and I made three songs.”
