Reggae seems to be in this summer. And let’s be honest with ourselves: there have been some mixed results. 2NE1’s summer track “Fallin’ in Love” was a miss. Where “I Love You” infectiously stayed in our brains for months after summer came to an end, “Fallin in Love” is already forgotten, with the hope that the next track, “Do You Love Me?” will be 2013’s true answer to 2012’s infectious hit. This is a pretty big let down after CL’s epic solo “Baddest Female” primed us for a summer of excellence.
On top of having a largely forgettable sound, the music video looks like it was made by a YG asleep at the wheel. The choreography is slow, and Park Bom seems incapable of keeping up with it. Add in Sandara’s less than stellar cultural appropriation with the bindi, and where the music video for “I’m the Best” insisted it was the best, “Fallin in Love” insists that it is the meh-st
Dara opened her twitter account last September 17, 2012. Even though she's famous as a 2NE1 member, she still chose to channel her Philippine show business roots and named her account “krungy21” and described herself as the 'Pambansang Krungkrung ng Pilipinas'. It comes from an informal Filipino language, “krungkrung”, which means 'crazy' literally. However, Dara became the exclusive bearer of that name because of her wacky personality.
After 10 months of more than 1,500 tweets, she is now followed by more than 1,000,000 Blackjacks, krung krungs, Daralings, co-stars and others.
To show her happiness, she posted a tweet and a photo where she held two bottles which she was about to drink. Happy 1M followers @krungy21 pic.twitter.com/TKaFUJk3Cq

Big Bang, 2NE1, yg entertainmentYG: 2012 About Big Bang, 2013 About 2NE1
For YG Entertainment, 2012 was certainly about promoting Big Bang, putting out back-to-back songs with combinations of G-Dragon as a solo and the team as a whole. This year, YG seems to be employing a similar strategy. This time, YG is going all in on 2NE1.
Similar to how Big Bang paved the way for G-Dragon last year, CL is leading 2NE1 back to the land of K-pop with the release of her solo debut album, soon to be followed by 2NE1's comeback with a new song in June. Only time will tell whether the similar tactic will work out for two years in a row or not, but it will probably be successful. Why? Simply because it is 2NE1 we are talking about.
With CL having prepared the stage with her solo debut of THE BADDEST FEMALE, 2NE1 is reported to have pulled up their comeback date from July to June

2NE1, CL, YG Entertainment
Continuing our EOY: 2NE1 in 2012 retrospective series is the "Baddest Female," CL. This year, 2NE1's leader highlighted her more feminine side, while showcasing her strong ties to the fashion world. And on top of that, CL proved that yes, she can rock a parrot on stage.
2012 was an amazing year for CL! She jet set all over the world, made appearances at numerous events, gave us amazing interviews, showed her softer side, and still gave us a lot of charisma and kick-butt attitude! When it comes to doing it all and still looking good, our leader is a shining example of what you can do with the right attitude and of course, a killer outfit. ;D
CL captured a lot of hearts in 2012 by showing many sides of herself and her many charms. CL simply steals hearts no matter what she does
