EXO-CBXs Japanese Debut Album Sees Impressive Number Of First Day Sales + High Ranking On Charts

EXO-CBXs first Japanese release is out and its already receiving lots of love!

Their mini album GIRLS was officially released on May 24, and sold a noteworthy 26,541 physical copies in just the first day alone, and placed them second on Oricons daily album chart. It continued to be second place on on the daily album chart for May 25, with 22,248 copies sold.

In addition to title track Ka-CHING!, the album includes a Japanese version of their Korean debut title Hey Mama, and five entirely new songs that showcase EXO-CBXs own color. The Japanese media reported, A slight contrast to EXOs unique sound, [EXO-CBXs] diversified pop sound is well-loved.

The unit has already performed their title track a few times ahead of the albums release, and also been featured in several magazine spreads where they revealed more about themselves through fun interviews. They will also be holding a free showcase at the beginning of June.
