SISTAR’s Soyu has been revealed to lend her voice for soundtrack, ‘Diamond’ of the animated movie, “The Snow Queen 2: Troll’s Magic Mirror.”

The star will be following in the tradition of fellow SISTAR member Hyorin, who has also previously recorded a song for an animated movie. Hyorin recorded the Korean version of the track “Let It Go,” from the soundtrack of 2013 animated movie “Frozen.”

The two images show the star wearing a white dress with a matching hair accessory. In one of the pictures she appears to be holding a large pink replica diamond.

Actress Bella Thorne, the star of TV series “Shake it Up!,” sings the English version of “Diamond” on the English-language version of “The Snow Queen 2: Troll Magic Mirror” soundtrack.

“Diamond” will be released as a digital download on December 10.

Group Supernova has been gaining much attention for their roles in Japan musicals.

Recently, members Sungje and Jihyuk have been casted as the leading role for the musical, "Summer Snow."

The musical "Summer Snow" was originally a Japan drama from 2000. It is about miracles and love and family and was one of the most popular dramas of that time.

Sungje has been moving hearts of the audience through his acting. He has been acting in various musicals and has grown as an actor.

For member Jihyuk, this will be his first time doing a musical. However, he has done several dramas and has some experience acting. It was through his acting in dramas that allowed his potential to be shown and was eventually casted for this musical.

Aside from them, other idol stars such as Super Junior Sungmin, FTISLAND Song Seung Hyun and others have also played this role.

Sungje, Jihyuk and member Sungmo have all been casted for the 'Lee Shin' role for the musical 'Palace', for the past 3 years in a row.

Musical 'Palace' was first released in Seoul in 2010 and casted other top stars such as TVXQ Yunho, SS501 Kyujong and others and became a huge hit.

This musical will begin on July 5-21 in Osaka, Japan. The main role will be played by Sungmo, U-KISS member Eui Hoon, Kisub and FTISLAND Minhwan.

On the other hand, Supernova is currently busy as singers as well. They are currently on their Japan tour.

Group Super Junior member Sungmin has been casted for the Japanese musical, 'Summer Snow'.

Sungmin plays the lead role of a character who loses his parents in an accent and has to take care of his 2 younger siblings. He has a warm-hearted personality as he strives to find happiness.

Supernova Sungje and FTISLAND Song Seung Hyun have also been casted for the lead role.

The musical, 'Summer Snow', aired in Japan on TBS in 2000 and gained much attention. The family love that was revealed in the drama touched the hearts of many. This drama, at that time, won the Japan Academy Best Drama Award and was recognized for its both cinematic quality and production.

Sungmin has also been busy in Japan with Super Junior promotions and has gained much popularity. He has previously acted in other musicals such as 'Jack the Ripper' and 'Hong Gil Dong' as well and has gained a good reputation.

He has been recognized by many people on his acting skills and his fan base has increased as well.

On the other hand, 'Summer Snow' will begin in Japan this April starting in Osaka.

Sungmin joined Super Junior in 2005 and made his debut with their single, 'Twins (Knock Out)'.

He later debuted in Super Junior-T, which was a trot group in 2007. Starting in 2010, he began his career as a musical actor with his first musical, 'Hong Gil Dong'. In 2011, he joined the sub group Super Junior-M and performed overseas.

Last year, he went back to his musical path and took on his role in the musical, 'Jack the Ripper'.

This year, he made a comeback with Super Junior-M with their new single, Break Down. The sub group will also be promoting in China as well.

Hallyu acts set for Japan snow party

Park Hyo-shin and MBLAQ are some of the K-pop acts chosen to perform at this year's Sapporo Snow Festival.

The world-renowned event and one of Japan's largest winter festivals is in its 64th year and has asked Park, MBLAQ and other acts like D-Unit and Big Star to put on a show on Feb. 9 as part of the K-pop ensemble.

This year's showcase will fly under the banner "Love 7 Peace in Harmony for One Asia", and the proceeds will benefit Good Friends Save the Children.

As well as performing, Big Star and D-Unit will take some time off to visit a children's welfare facility in the city.

The snow sculpture celebrations will run Feb. 5-11 with some three million visitors expected to descend on the Japanese city.

This is the fourth year that the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange, Sapporo Tourist Association and NPO Japan-Korea Cultural Exchange Association have joined forces to host the K-pop show in the northern Japanese city.

Korea Foundation for International culture Exchange or KOFICE announced that Park Hyo-shin, MBLAQ, Big Star, D-Unit and more will perform at Sapporo Nitori Hall on February 9th.

This performance is part of the "K-Pop Festival 2013" show featured in the "64th Sapporo Snow Festival."

The Sapporo Snow Festival which is held between February 5th and 11th, is one of the world's 3 biggest festivals, with over 3 million people taking part in it.

Hosted by the Japan Korea Cultural Foundation, KOFICE and Sapporo Tourist Association, this is the 4th K-Pop Festival.

The theme for this festival is "Love and Peace in Harmoney for One Asia."

All proceeds will be donated to Good Friends Save the Children.
