Got Song? Hallyu actor to make six stops throughout Asia for fan meets
Hallyu actor Song Joong-ki is set to make six stops throughout Asia, starting with Thailand on Saturday. The event was orchestrated by the actor as a thank you present for his fans overseas. "The Song Joong-ki Asia Fan Meeting Tour" has a subtitle of "Thrill & Love", and the actor is currently mulling over various approaches for his time on the stage. He says that he hopes to communicate with and captivate his fans while on tour. The first stage of the tour will take place at the Paragon Hall in Thailand
The Hallyu “idol” Supernova throws the first ball for a pro baseball game in Japan
Supernova has thrown the first ball at the opening of the pro baseball season in Japan. On April 15, the group appeared on the mound to give a throw for a home game of Soft Bank Hawks held at Fukuoka Yahoo Dome. They appeared in casual suits, threw the first ball, and performed a song. A staff member of the group says, “The CEO of the mother company of the Soft Banks Hawks is Son Masayoshi, a Korean-Japanese, as a lot of Koreans know. Because we have a personal connection with him, Supernova was invited to throw the ball for its reputation as a rising Hallyu star in Japan
Eric’s parents make a surprise appearance on a recent episode of ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’
Shinhwa fans got a chance to see where member Eric inherited his good looks from. A recent episode of jTBC‘s ‘Shinhwa Broadcast‘ revealed the members preparing for their 14th anniversary concert. The members’ parents made surprise appearances on the episode, but it was the parents of leader Eric that drew the most attention from viewers. Eric’s parents Grace and Simon Mun boasted youthful looks and defined facial features, and made it was easy for fans to see where Eric inherited his good genes
Academy promises new ‘traditional’ hallyu

Since the beginning of the year, the ministry has implemented new measures to add more depth to the Korean wave, including the opening of an ad-hoc organization within the ministry to that purpose
IU Asks Fans Not to Take Paparazzi Photos
IU requested fans to "please do not take paparazzi photos when I am with my friends or family."On the April 22 broadcast of SBS "Inkigayo," MC's Nicole, Goo Hara, and IU transformed into paparazzis who took photos of stars' personal lives. In addition, the three MC's each revealed the kind of photos that they would never want to be released to the public. IU said, "I would like photos of me on meetings with my friends or family members to be kept private." Goo Hara admitted, "I would never like to reveal my makeup-free face when I wake up first thing in the morning
DSP Boyz’ official name revealed to be ‘A-JAX’
After unveiling each of the seven members over the course of a week, DSP Media has finally unveiled the official group name of their newest boy group, referred to as DSP Boyz until recently. DSP Boyz’ official group name has been decided on ‘A-JAX‘, in reference to the mythological Greek hero that brought victory to the Greeks during the Trojan War. Just like their mythological reference, the group has set out to “stand as the hero in the cutthroat idol competition in the music industry”
Fans Of TVXQ’s U-Know Build Library In China
U-Know's fan base in China is expressing their love for the singer in a way that will benefit the community: by building a library. Though it's been awhile since the opening date, news of the U-Know Library in China has been receiving much attention. After a long period of planning, the library was opened on March 24th to express their love for the "warm, passionate, and honest young" star that "moved the hearts of many". U-Know Library is located on the second floor of Chungam Elementary School, housing over 1,600 books
JYJ’s Park Yoochun voted “Most Popular Male Actor”
JYJ‘s Park Yoochun has been confirmed to receive the ‘Popularity Award’ for an upcoming award show. Park Yoochun who played a role in MBC TV‘s ‘Miss Ripley‘ secured the top spot in a popularity poll for male TV actors conducted by the 48th annual PaekSang Arts Awards which is scheduled to take place at Seoul Olympic Park on April 26th. The poll was conducted from March 23rd to April 23rd, and Yoochun earned 53.8% of all votes. He earned 9.3% more than his fellow JYJ member Kim Jaejoong (44
Lady Gaga Arrives Early to Shape Up for Seoul Concert
Over 200 fans and reporters gathered at Gimpo Airport to see Lady Gaga arrive in Seoul on Friday. Traveling on her private jet, the new "queen of pop" came a week ahead of her concert, which will be held at Jamsil Olympic Stadium this week. She first visited Korea to promote her album back in August 2009. Lady Gaga chose Korea to launch her worldwide tour, "Born This Way Ball Tour", which also includes stops in Japan, Australia and Hong Kong and will continue until next year. In Seoul, production staff who are working on the stage settings are keeping all of the details strictly under wraps to heighten the effect of the upcoming performance
