MBK Entertainment to launch

Looks like T-ara is gaining a hoobae group soon! On February 10, multiple music industry representatives revealed to Star News that "T-ara"s Little Sister Girl Group" will be selected via a survival program.

"T-ara"s Little Sister Girl Group," which has yet to be given an official name, will be MBK Entertainment"s newest group. MBK Entertainment will be introducing potential members--trainees Whee Hyun, Eun Jin, Jung Chae Yeon, and Seul Gi--via an upcoming survival program. Although trainee Min Hyun originally planned on participating in the program as well, due to personal circumstances, she had to step down.

Furthermore, Dani will be joining the show as the fifth trainee. Dani was first introduced to the public back in 2012 as a new T-ara member. She later withdrew from the group and appeared again before the public in 2013, when she joined T-ara"s subunit T-ara N4 and promoted in former member Ahreum"s place.

As Dani now joins "T-ara"s Little Sister Girl Group," she will no longer be active as a T-ara N4 member. 17-years-old and standing at an impressive height of 170 cm (approx. 5 ft 7 in), she is one of the six trainees (now five) who were selected to join the program.

"T-ara"s Little Sister Girl Group" survival program is expected to premiere in March while the group itself is expected to debut in late April.

T-ara N4 member Dani made a statement regarding the bullying controversy that has been circulating the web.

Earlier in the day, Dani had made comments on the program, “Human Documentary, People are Good – Shannon episode”, in which she said, “Had it not been for Shannon, [I] would have been a loner.”

Dani went to her Instagram to clarify, saying, “What I meant on the broadcast was that when I first came to Korea my Korean was not very good and it was very hard for me to communicate with the other trainees. Shannon came to me and started speaking English which made it a lot easier for me.”

She continued that all she had wanted to do was express how much she liked Shannon but, as she was young, her remarks may have left some room for misinterpretation.

Dani also said, “The fact that the media took my words and portrayed it negatively really upset me. It was a program that Shannon was a big part of, and I’m so sorry it turned out like this. Shannon, I’m so sorry. I’m still very young so please don’t take what I said to heart and continue to look over me”.

Though Dani did give her explanation for her comments on the program, this may not be the last we hear of T-ara’s bullying controversy.

On the January 25th broadcast of "Human Documentary", Shannon introduced Dani as her label mate and friend since their trainee days as she shared, "Dani was not fluent in Korean at all at first so it was like looking at a mirror. That is why I wanted to take care of her more and approached her first in English."

Dani shared during her interview, "[Shannon] helps me a lot. If it wasn"t for Shannon unni, I think I would"ve been very lonely... I think I would"ve really been an outcast." Although her comment seemed heartwarming and sincere, netizens flocked to her Instagram and more with criticisms for possibly alluding to the T-ara bullying scandal in which Hwayoung received attention and ultimately left the group for allegedly being an outcast, creating confusion that Dani might have followed in the same route if it wasn"t for Shannon.

Dani took to her Instagram to apologize and to make clear that there may have been some misinterpretation because of her not-so-fluent Korean speaking skills and there was no harmful intent. Dari apologized on her Instagram on the 25th, "For people that cant read in korean...... i am very sorry to my t ara unnies...ㅠㅠ....and shannon for saying something like that but i never meant to hurt anyones feelings and i didnt mean to hurt any fans and its just because of my korean....im not very good with korean..but...i never meant it in that way...i hope everybody understands and please keep supporting and loving t ara and shannon... and i am very sorry to shannon and t ara ..."
