Jung Yong-hwa of boy band CNBLUE will release a solo album in July, his first since January 2015.
After a busy spell working on the band’s latest album, which was released in March, the solo project is a welcome opportunity for Jung to try out some novel musical ideas.
Jung recently collaborated with foreign artists through a songwriting camp. “I met a songwriter from New York at the three-day camp and worked with him. It was a fresh approach to writing. These days, we collaborate on songs through online messaging”, Jung said.
Having been involved in showbiz for some seven years now, Jung has successfully expanded his activities as an actor as well as a singer, both at home and abroad.
