Clara's Activities In Korea May Be Halted By The Korean Entertainment Management Association

Clara's Activities In Korea May Be Halted By The Korean Entertainment Management Association

Clara (Photo : ) Clara may have temporarily lost the ability to continue promotional activities in Korea due to a sanction which has allegedly been issued by The Korean Entertainment Management Association.

The Korean Entertainment Management Association issued a statement in response to Claras alleged lawsuit against Polaris Entertainment and subsequent controversy. An abridged version of the official statement from the Korean Entertainment Management Association was published in English by allkpop.

The official statement opens with a paragraph addressing the ethical issues which have surrounded Claras alleged lawsuit. The statement goes on to address the strength of the claims that have allegedly been issued by Clara against Polaris Entertainment which include sexual harassment through the medium of text messages.

According to allkpop, The Korean Entertainment Management Association acknowledges that she is a potential victim but also emphasizes their neutral stance in the situation by stating, While the results of the investigation have not been released yet, Clara, as an involved party of the dispute that has arisen from a problem involving her contract with the agency and is becoming a controversy, can been seen as an even more severe problem as the situation is receiving a lot of public criticism from society and the sensitive topic of sexual humiliation is especially becoming a public controversy; therefore, the aftermath could have an impact on even the public.

The strongest portion of the statement comes at the conclusion, where The Korean Entertainment Management Association addresses Claras behavior in recent months and her approach to the alleged lawsuit. The association cites these reasons as contributing factors for their decision to halt her ability to promote within Korea. According to allkpop the agency stated, Clara should have garnered the understanding from the public for her activities as a celebrity, respected that, and as a public figure, should have sincerely taken responsibility and behaved with self-discipline, but she has not sufficiently led with that, so we believe we must check her from continuing her activities as an entertainer."

Meanwhile, Clara was spotted in Hong Kong. This recent development could mean that there will be an extensive period of time before Clara will be able to act in Korea or engage in promotional activities within the country.

The Korean Entertainment Management Association to halt Clara

The Korean Entertainment Management Association to halt Clara

The Korean Entertainment Management Association released their official statement regarding the current controversy with actress Clara, who has become embroiled in a complicated lawsuit with Polaris Entertainment.

The shortened version of the official statement on January 28 says:

"Korean Entertainment Management Association"s special organization, the Rewards and Punishment Mediation Ethics Committee, has adopted the important matter in relation to Clara, actress of popular culture and arts, that has recently broken out and express its ethical stance in order to help the wholesome development of the Korean entertainment business.

While the results of the investigation have not been released yet, Clara, as an involved party of the dispute that has arisen from a problem involving her contract with the agency and is becoming a controversy, can been seen as an even more severe problem as the situation is receiving a lot of public criticism from society and the sensitive topic of sexual humiliation is especially becoming a public controversy; therefore, the aftermath could have an impact on even the public.

As a Korean star and an involved party of the incident that has become a problem, Clara should have garnered the understanding from the public for her activities as a celebrity, respected that, and as a public figure, should have sincerely taken responsibility and behaved with self-discipline, but she has not sufficiently led with that, so we believe we must check her from continuing her activities as an entertainer."

Looks like she won"t be active for a while, at least not in South Korea! Meanwhile, her movie "Working Girl" is currently still in theaters, so there are some concerns about whether her current scandal will have an effect on the movie.

Do you think the committee made the right decision?

Korean Sexy Star Clara,

Korean Sexy Star Clara, "I Just Want To Keep My Own Colour"

Korean sexy bomb Clara has enjoyed her meal with "Drunken Talk".

With some beer, Clara became bolder than she already is. The release of "Casa Amor, Exclusive for Ladies" made her slightly tense but the drink allowed her to settle down a little.

She's frank. Her "cool" answers surprised the reporter. She's very optimistic and answers everything with a smile. She experienced painful years of no-fame in her early years but she's now the sexiest icon there is and this didn"t happen because of a lucky ball she threw at a game. We asked her what we wanted to know about her.

You have been accused of lying because of what you said on TV.

"I am honest in what I say and it depends on my mood so I make mistakes and cause misunderstandings. I always tell myself to be careful of what I say. How people see me is how I show myself. It's most important to be myself".

There are so many rumors and misunderstandings about Clara. Is there anything you want to defend yourself for?

"I don"t have exhibitionism. I don"t stay exposed or wear things that expose me. I like causal looks and I just wear sexy outfits when the situation requires it. I just want to show you healthy and energetic me. I don"t have exhibitionism".

Do you check the online comments?

"I don"t really. Especially the comments. I always used to look up my articles and read the comments but I realized they are all the same. People say, "Who is she and why is she in the main page?", "We don"t want to know about her", "I am so tired of seeing her" and such".

Was there an exceptionally hurting comment?

"I don"t get hurt from them. You can"t survive if you do. Everyone has different point of views so I don"t care. Not everyone can like me. And it"s better to have some rude comments than none at all. No matter how they look at me, it means that they are curious about who I am. Something"s better than nothing".

You have many titles such as actress, singer and entertainer. Which do you prefer?"

"Of course, actress. I've been acting for a long time and when I introduce myself I call myself "actress". I hope I am more of an actress to the others when they see "Casa Amor, Exclusive for Ladies"".

There are many biased reviews of you since you are active everywhere.

"I am upset about that but it"s something I have to deal with. I can't help rumors and speculations like that when I am in this biz. I don't think badly of it. I get offered positions for MC or even as a singer. In the past it was mostly offers for a pictorial focused on my body but on the good side of being active everywhere, I am now asked for in the beauty section too".

You are hungry for more and curious as well.

"I want to experience whatever I can in this one life I have. I don't want to lose something I am curious about. Of course, I get scared about attempting at doing something new but it's something we've all got to go through don't we?"

Clara's 'Working Girl' Is A Korean Adaptation Of A Latin American Film

Clara's 'Working Girl' Is A Korean Adaptation Of A Latin American Film

(Photo : Megabox Plus M) Clara and Jo Yeo Jeong star in the upcoming film "Working Girl." International interest in Korean entertainment continues to increase as the Hallyu or Korean Wave of cultural export flows throughout the world. This has led to cross-cultural exchange where K-pop groups like Super Junior incorporate elements of Spanish music in their song MAMACITA.

The Korean film industry has started to look towards Latin America, for refreshing and unique stories. The upcoming film Working Girl is an adaptation of the racy Brazilian movie Upside Down.

Working Girl is the second adaptation of a Latin American film from the production company who also delivered the 2012 hit romantic comedy All About My Wife. All About My Wife was adapted from the 2008 Argentine film A Boyfriend for My Wife.

The Korean Film Council recently chronicled the journey of Working Girl from its Latin American origins to its innovative, Korean adaptation.

The film which is also known as Casa Amor: Exclusive for Ladies tells the tale of two women: Bo Hee, a business woman who falls upon hard times and Nan Hee, the owner of a failing adult toy shop.

Bo Hee is portrayed by actress Jo Yeo Jeong (The Target). She is successful at marketing childrens toys and believes that she is happily married until she loses her job. Jobless and also facing the loss of her husband, she befriends Nan Hee.

Nan Hee is portrayed by Clara (Emergency Couple). Nan Hee is overtly sexual but struggles to find love within her life and can not make her failing adult-oriented business into a successful venture.

Working Girl explores the sensitive topics of female sexuality and empowerment.

With its approach of sensitive topics, the film is not without its controversy. Director Jung Bum Sik recently faced a backlash for his statements at a press conference where he discussed Claras use of an adult toy to gain better knowledge for her role.

Working Girl opens in Korean theaters on January 8, 2015.
