If former 2NE1 member Gong Minzy amazed her fans with her fit and toned body on the cover of her first solo album “UNO”, it seems that CL will not be outdone. The K-pop star made summer even hotter with her sizzling summer look displaying her trim physique and penchant for fashion for a magazine cover.
The former leader of 2NE1 graced the cover of W Korea in excellent summer style of a green swimsuit and a pink shift, adding a touch of nostalgia with stylish pair of oversized sunglasses and retro style blonde hairdo. CL was shown on the magazine’s cover as she lounged near the poolside, All Kpop reported.
“Taking the world by storm with her powerful performance,” W Korea announced on its Instagram post. “#CL stars on #WKorea June issue cover.”
The caption fittingly describes the trajectory of CL’s career after the much talked about disbandment of K-pop girl group 2NE1 last year. Aside from her epic and on point style choices, CL is known for her powerful performances that manages to entrance the audience whether she’s on stage or behind the television screens in a music video.
CL is currently working on her solo album entitled “Lifted” which is expected to be her ticket to penetrating the US market to become a global superstar. According to a report by Kpopstarz, the former 2NE1 leader is working closely with Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s agent Scooter Braun for her venture into the global market.
While 2NE1 has already disbanded last year, nothing has changed in the relationship of its four members. CL, Sandara, Minzy and Park Bom remain supportive of each other’s projects and promote each other on their official social media pages. CL and Park Bom were in attendance for the VVIP premiere of Sandara’s debut movie “One Step” while all three members proudly displayed their signed copies of Minzy’s first solo album on their Twitter and Instagram. In their messages, they shared how proud they were of each other’s accomplishments.
