Singer Choi Minho of the five-man South Korean RB act SHINee laughed off negative comments band member Key's made about his acting on Wednesday's episode of the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) television show "Radio Star."
"I don't think much about it," Minho said on Tuesday's episode of MBC's "Medical Top Team."
"We're close friends, so I think it's completely fine to say something like that in a joking manner."
Yet, the 21-year-old actor admitted that he struggled with his role on the 2012 Seoul Broadcasting System drama "To The Beautiful You."
"My acting then was one out 10 points," Minho said.
Minho starred alongside Sulli of the K-pop girl group f(x) and actor Lee Hyun Woo in "To The Beautiful You."
The Korean drama, which ran for 16 episodes, revolves around an American girl living in the US, played by Sulli, who sees a track and field competition on television and falls in love with one of the competitors, Cha Eun Gyul, played by Minho.
The series is a remake of the 2006 Taiwanese program "Hanazakarino Kimitachihe" and the 2007 Japanese show "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" and its 2011 follow-up, "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e 2011."
Yura of the four-member Girl's Day made her acting debut on "To the Beautiful You" as another fan of Minho's character.
Last year, she raved about the experience to Star News.
"I love acting. I think it fits me," Yura said after shooting her first scenes. "If I get to have a chance, I want to work as both a singer and an actress."
The chemistry for the show among the principal actors reportedly came together as soon as the first table read, one member of the production crew told eNEWS.
"Already the actors are coming together tightly and giving their all to make a flawless drama," the source said following the reading.
"We believe the combination of the younger actors' passion and the experience of the adult actors will give birth to a great production."

Kang Se-chan then said, "Nothing's complicated. I can quit my position".
