CEO of major fried chicken franchise accused of sexually harassing female employee at a hotel

Choi Ho Sig(64), the chairman of a major fried chicken franchiseHosigiChicken,is accused of sexual harassment.

Choi is under investigation after a female employee in her 20s claimed that she was sexually harassed by the CEO at a hotel in Gangnam on Saturday. The female employee claims that she was persuaded by Choi to go to a hotel room together.

Choi denies all accusations, stating that there was “no physical contact at all”, and claimed they checked into the hotel room because the employee had a hangover.

Meanwhile, CCTV footage shows the scene of the female employee running out of the hotel to a taxi while Choi follows her.

Netizens are reacting with anger to the sexual harassment accusations on Choi and are campaigning to boycott Hosigi Chicken, which is currently one of the biggest friend chicken franchises in South Korea with more than 1,000 domestic stores.
