The song Little Apple from a music video made by the Chopsticks Brothers has taken China by storm ever since its release. This is also the song used in the hilarious parody video starring Supreme Leader Kim Jong-Un that North Korea wants erased from the internet. But the adventures of grass root talent and music duo Chopsticks Brothers didnt start with, or will it end with this unique music video.

This MV is actually a promotional short for a new movie called Old Boy: The Way Of The Dragon.Without any marquee stars or a big budget, the movie with a unique mix of comedy, action and music became a blockbuster within 4 days of its release despite strong competition from such big name movies as Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Xiao Yang and Wang Taili, who team up as the Chopsticks Brothers, rose to fame when their 42-minute micro-film called Old Boys went viral after it was posted to the Youkou video portal site in 2010. The story of two struggling young musicians deeply touched a chord with the Chinese generation that grew up in the 1980s. When their micro-film got over 75 million views, Youkou decided to invest in making a feature film version with the Chopsticks Brothers. The path from micro-film to full-feature film has actually unleashed a revolutionary trend in the movie-making industry in China, and Chopsticks Brothers Xiao and Wang have seen their dream come true.

Heres the promotional MV, Little Apple, with Chopsticks Brothers. Its interesting to note that the story in the MV is more of a spoof on the movies plot about the two musicians traveling to New York to seek success. There is no explanation why some of the dialogue is in Korean. But dont worry, this MV is subbed in English.

Just like the craze for Korean musician Psys Gangnam Style, the fervor for Little Apple has also excited people to create imitation videos or perform flash dances using the catchy song with an upbeat tempo. Here are some really fun ones!

Shanghai girl dancing in front of landmarks with a funny behind-the-scene segment at the end:

The song sung in Japanese in a fan-made version:

Flash dance inside Qingdao University:

When asked why they used an apple as the motif for their song, songwriter Wang Taili answered simply that apples are full of nutritional value and are good for ones health. The initial song only took 3 or 4 days to write, but then it took them 38 revisions to finally simplify the song to its current form to make it an easy to sing and dance to. Wang said that hes actually an optimistic person and wanted a happy song.

Is Ylvis' 'The Fox' The New 'Gangnam Style?' Music Video Goes Viral, Enters Top 30 In Billboard Chart Ylvis The Fox, the next Gangnam Style? (Photo Credit: Facebook) Psy may have secured his place in viral history with "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman," but a new music video by Ylvis titled "The Fox" may be the next viral sensation.

Ylvis is a variety show duo from Norway consisting of brothers Brd Urheim Ylvisker and Vegard Urheim Ylvisker, which debuted in 2000.

"The Fox" is produced by Norwegian producers Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen (aka Stargate). Given their collaboration history with Rihanna, Beyonce, and Ne-Yo, the success of "The Fox" may not be much of a surprise.

"The Fox" is a music video released to promote their TV talk show, "I kveld med Ylvis"("Tonight With Ylvis"). After uploading September 3, the video has garnered nearly 40 million views and has been even caught the attention of Ellen Degeneres.

"It is the most amazing video I've seen in a long time. The song does not leave my head," raves Ellen Degeneres on a recent episode of her talk show.

"I don't know a lot about Norway, but I'm going to assume marijuana is legal there."

After catching Ellen's eye, Ylvis will make an appearance on "The Ellen Degeneres Show," making it their first appearance on American television.

In addition, "The Fox" has even entered the Billboard charts at number 29. Thanks to the new amended rules that incorporate YouTube views, the song has become the third most streamed song behind "Harlem Shake" by Baauer, Psy's "Gentleman," and One Direction's "Best Song Ever."

So, will Ylvis and "The Fox" become their "Gangnam Style?"

Yoo Jae Suk Says He Received Mushrooms from Psy for Appearing in

Yoo Jae Suk Says He Received Mushrooms from Psy for Appearing in "Gangnam Style"s" Music Video

In return for appearing in Psy′s music video, Yoo Jae Suk apparently got mushrooms.

On the December 20 broadcast of KBS2′s Happy Together 3, Yoo Jae Suk said he got a special gift from Psy after appearing in his Gangnam Style music video.

The ′Christmas special′ of the day featured singers Kim Bum Soo, Park Jung Hyun, Yoon Jong Shin and Jo Jung Chi.

Park Jung Hyun first drew interest by talking about how she had come to feature her vocals in Psy′s album despite how the two had never shared ties before.

"I′m glad Psy′s been doing so well," Park Jung Hyun said. "I received a laptop computer in thanks after singing for him."

The MCs immediately pounced on Yoo Jae Suk at these words, asking him what he got in return for his appearance in Gangnam Style.

When Park Myung Soo asked him whether he had received any gifts, Yoo Jae Suk said, "I said it was okay, that he didn′t have to give me anything, but the day after we shot the music video I received a pack of pine mushrooms."

Yoo Jae Suk appears in the Gangnam Style music video as ′the guy in the yellow suit′, a figure that has often appeared in numerous parodies of the music video and added to its popularity. At the 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards, a giant group of backup dancers dressed like Yoo Jae Suk danced the horse ride dance with Psy in the ceremony′s grand finale.

Psy is close to surpassing Jennifer Lopez′s fame on Youtube.

The music video of Gangnam Style soared past 600 million views on Youtube on October 31, 109 days since it was first released. The views currently stand at 602 million.

This sets the music video just behind those for Justin Bieber′s Baby and Jennifer Lopez′s On the Floor in Youtube′s Most Viewed Videos chart.
