Comedic duo UV released the music video for their digital single, “Because of You” featuring Sung Hoon of Brown Eyed Soul, through the official LOEN Entertainment YouTube channel on May 6.  “Because of You” is a mid tempo acoustic song and as the duo put it, about “fake emotion.” The music video is a light hearted parody of contemporary K-pop music videos. UV are ready to compete with all of the other hot comebacks this month with their first digital single of the new year, “Because of You” feat. Brown Eyed Soul‘s Sung Hoon. “Because of You” is a medium-tempo song that has acoustic elements with a soothing piano melody. With her newest album out and ready to conquer, Younha released her music video for The Reason Why We Broke Up. On May 2, Younha unveiled The Reason Why We Broke Up music video featuring actor Park Ki Woong, who made the appearance for free.The Reason Why We Broke Up comes off of Younha’s mini album, Just Listen, which includes collaborations with Brown Eyed Soul’s Naul, Yoon Do Hyun, KOXX, Skull, and other hit producing musicians. Not only will Younha be releasing a new album, she will be working with a number of exceptional artists. On April 26, Younha revealed the first teaser for her album, Just Listen. The video guided the viewers through a fantasy word as names of very talented singers floated by. Brown Eyed Soul’s Naul, Yoon Do Hyun, Harim, Lyn, Score, The KOXX, Don Spike, Skull, and Urban Zakapa were mentioned, making fans already anticipate what Younha has prepared in store. The album will be released on May 2 and Younha will be holding an exclusive concert, Plitvice, in June

I have an infatuation with Korean variety shows and one of my favorites right now is ‘Immortal Song 2‘. When I first heard that the show was reincarnating as a singing competition, I was fairly skeptical because I felt that it was basically a poor man’s version of the show ‘I Am a Singer’.  But two years later, ‘I Am a Singer’ has gone the way of the Dodo (that is to say extinct) and ‘Immortal Song 2’ is still going strong, entertaining viewers each week. I think the key is that the show doesn’t take itself so seriously but still manages to produce some amazing performances from K-pop’s hottest stars
