On June 27th, the crowd in Putra Indoor Stadium in Malaysia was a witness to a very happening concert headlined by three artists from CUBE, namely G.Na, 4Minute and also BEAST. Being the first ever concert sponsored by a life insurer in Malaysia, the AIA Kpop Concert took the theme 'Be Real. Love it. Live it' and presented a concert that is most likely won't be forgotten anytime soon by Malaysian Kpop fans.
The only solo artist in the concert that night, G.Na, opened the show with Supa Solo, taken from her first album. Decked in black outfits with glittery details, she also performed her hit songs 2HOT, BANANA, First Kiss, Top Girl and also Black and White, which mesmerized fans. When she performed I'll Live So You Live Better, Junhyung from BEAST, who was one of the other featured artists in the concert, joined her on the stage to perform together. Other than her own songs, G.Na also sang Take A Bow and Rude Boy, made popular by Rihanna.
The next group to take the stage, 4Minute, opened their performance with their latest hit songs, What's Your Name and also Mirror Mirror. The members, Hyuna, Jiyoon, Jihyun, Gayoon and Sohyun, greeted the Malaysian fans and mentioned how there are much more fans in Malaysia compared to the previous AIA Kpop Concert in Hong Kong in January 2013. With their newest song about to be released on 28th June, the girls teased their fans by giving them a taste of what they can get from It's Poppin' and sang a few lines of the song.
Fans got to see how versatile the girls from 4Minute were when they performed their hit songs such as I'm OK, HUH, Muzik and also they showed off their powerful vocal in ballad song, Pretend. Before ending their performance, the girls said that they were grateful of the fans' support and they hoped to come to Malaysia again! They went on to perform Heart to Heart and Hot Issue, as the crowd got more hyper and sang along with them.
The final act of the night was BEAST, made up of six members, Yoseob, Dongwoon, Doojoon, Hyunseung, Junhyung and Kikwang. They opened their performance by performing Beautiful Night and Bad Girl, which made the crowd even wilder. They greeted their fans and said that it has been a long time since their last visit, so their Malaysian fans must have missed them a lot. BEAST also added that they hope that they would be able to come to Malaysia for their Beautiful Show concert tour.
The next song they performed was Shock, Special and Fiction, which made the crowd dance and jumped along with the members as they got the crowd going. After all the excitement, BEAST cooled down the almost electric atmosphere with their beautiful ballad, Rainy Days and I Knew It, their beautiful voices reaching out to fans' hearts. As a special gift to their Malaysian fans, the group also performed their newest song 'Will You Be Alright?', written by member Junhyung, for the first time ever.
BEAST closed the show with their performance of Freeze, Beautiful and also an encore performance of V.I.U. During the encore, the boys were running around the stage and tried to be as close to the fans as possible by reaching out to them. Yoseob even went down the stage and shook hands with some very lucky fans. Leader, Doojoon, made the crowd went even wilder when he voluntareed himself to get 'showered' with water by other members.
That night was definitely the night where Malaysian Kpop fans were truly living it up, as per the theme of the concert. What a night to be remembered, indeed!

On the November 20 episode of SBS‘s “Law of the Jungle,” BEAST member Doojoon reasons an uproar by skill of admitting to going commando.
He seems with fellow member Junhyung and Jung Joon Young, and the 3 of them continue to get soaking wet by rain that comes and goes. Doojoon mentions that it will have to be fine so long as the wind doesn’t blow, saying, “I’m no longer dressed in any underwear.”
Shocked, Junhyung asks him, “You’re no longer wearing underwear?” Doojoon says that he’s wearing leggings, and Junhyung says, “So you’re not wearing underwear.”
“I’m wearing leggings as a substitute of underwear,” Doojoon corrects. Jung Joon Young tells the cameraman, “When we wake up tomorrow, we ought to get a close up on Doojoon.”
It turns out Doojoon takes the law of the jungle a little bit too seriously.
The November 20 broadcast of SBS’s “Law of the Jungle in Samoa” featured actors Lee Sang Yeob, Lee Won Jong, Wang Ji Hye, entertainer Kang Kyun Sung, singer Jung Joon Young, BEAST’s Junhyung and Doojoon with their leader comic Kim Byung Man. On the newest episode, they had an opportunity to speak about their survival stories.
In the episode, the Byung guy extended family aroused from sleep in the midst of the evening in a downpour. Lee Sang Yeob commented, “I laid down to sleep, yet water used to be leaking because of the downpour.”
The production team and the team lost communique at the basecamp. Byung Man Clan had to ditch the basecamp due to the the short emerging water in the valley. They briefly had to close up the recording apparatus and break out from the valley. All and sundry kept falling down because they couldn’t see clearly due to the rain. However, they were in a position to safely make their way out of the valley.
Thinking back to the ordeal, Junhyung commented, “It turned into an overly serious situation. I heard the properties were destroyed. Our property floated away, too.”
Doojoon added, “I think if we were behind schedule even 30 mins to an hour, we could’ve been in serious danger.”
Meanwhile, Doojoon, Junhyung, and Jung Joon Hyung have demonstrated camaraderie via forming the “Snake89” neighborhood named after the year they were born.
BEAST"s Dongwoon showed his charismatic stage presence in the November issue of Sure. For the pictorial, the idol tried different red carpet looks. He gave each combination a modern twist with unique shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti. One of the most recognizable pairs was the "Giuseppe For G-Dragon" glitter-encrusted loafers. The bold shoes can be yous HERE and can be seen below.

During the accompanying interview, the star talked about his musical The Great Gatsby [RE:BOOT]. He revealed, "Every day, we practice together for about six hours. Honestly, lately, when I think of the musical, I can"t fall asleep. Although I still have time to prepare, I feel pressured and I really want to do well. Our fans will come as audiences but I want to do well so that everyone will end up crying."
The star also discussed how his personality changes when he"s around his BEAST band mates. He explained, "I"m the mood maker. But on my own, I"m the quiet type. Like lately when it"s cold, I get lonely and gloomy. But when I"m with the hyungs, I make the atmosphere lively. That way, the staff and the filming atmosphere is great. It naturally happens like that. The energy that comes out of me when I"m alone and when I"m with the team is a little different."
To read the rest of the interview, remember to pick up the latest issue of Sure!

Hey Soompiers! I have some cool news about an upcoming project this is eager about bringing K-pop to the hundreds – yet unlike Soompi’s news-oriented focal point this project is all about thinking bigger, like, big screen bigger!
What occurs whilst you pluck a best idol out of Seoul and drop him off in small-town America? the beginning of a really, truly amusing romantic comedy that would incorporate the slick choreography we’ve come to be expecting from K-pop and a tale that every one people K-pop fanatics might be ready to attach with. The story, subsidized via Wilmer Valderrama, is planned for a feature film – hitting theaters across the united states and introducing more audiences to the entirety that K-pop has to offer.
We’ve synched up with Briana Frapart (the film’s writer and producer) and Aimee Lee Lucas (producer) to determine precisely how you can sign up for in the making of the film and make your voice heard. PSY could have presented K-pop to track listeners and Youtube aficionados, but this project goals to introduce K-pop to filmgoers everywhere.
Being produced with a team of professionals in the box of K-pop music and dance (from Lydia Paek, Keone + Mari Madrid, Quest Crew, and Ellen Kim to call a few), the film is going to turn K-pop how it used to be intended to be shown – and may come with some wonderful cameos as neatly as the stellar cast!
The KPOP Project team introduced a website just the day prior to today to get fans concerned with the making of the film, yes, but also to give back to the fans that experience been supporting K-pop in the US these sorts of years. It’s thank you to determination of fans like you that we are spoiled by super acts coming to the states just about each month. Enroll this stream and bring some great acts, and genuinely-earned recognition, to theaters around the U.S.!
Some of the perks you'll be able to get keep of from their crowdfunding campaign include: tickets to the film’s 2017 L.A. premiere, walk-on roles, the opportunity to be a further throughout the concert scenes (free concert!), a commute to Korea for filming, dance classes from the film’s choreographers themselves, film swag and way more!
We’ll be keeping you up to date with the film’s news and bringing you some exclusive policy on production, so remain tuned for some exciting announcements! Let us know your mind under in the comments section, we’d love to grasp what you’re thinking!
