TVXQ's Changmin Honored As Best Rookie at the Japanese Academy Award Changmin of TVXQ is popular in Japan for not only his singing, but his acting. The young star received the Best Rookie award at the 36th Japanese Academy Awards.

Changmin played the role of "Momo", a bomb specialist from North Korea, in the movie "Fly With The Gold". He spoke Japanese for his role, and was praised for not only mastering the distinct dialect for his character, but also delivering a convincing performance of a pained Momo.

Changmin has been gaining acting experience in projects like "Paradise Ranch" and "Athena". He was also announced to be one of the MCs -- alongside Kang Ho-dong -- on the new variety show "Moonlight Prince", which first aired January 22nd.
