‘Elevator Guy’ Noh Hong Chul receiving requests to appear on American TV shows for ‘Gangnam Style’ ?

It seems not only Psy receives all the attention for ”Gangnam Style” but comedian Noh Hong Chul does too!

While PSY is realizing an increase in popularity as ”Gangnam Style” continues to take the world by storm, the overseas media outlets are also showing interest in comedian Noh Hong Chul who performed a hilarious dance in the MV.

Noh Hong Chul, who makes a brief but lasting impression in Psy’s ”Gangnam Style”, revealed through his agency that even he is receiving requests from shows abroad to have him appear.

In the video, Noh Hong Chul appears in a brief scene in an elevator performing his trademark, ‘pelvic thrust dance’.

Due to the fame of “Gangnam Style”, we have received a casting request from overseas. However, due to issues such as communication, we decided to respectfully turn down the offer,” a Noh Hong Chul representative remarked, according to NoCutNews on September 13th.

The dance has been gaining notoriety and fame recently with many dubbing Noh Hong Chul the ‘Elevator Guy‘.

There is even a clip on YouTube where Noh Hong Chul’s dance is repeated over and over for 10 hours, and the clip which was uploaded on the 3rd now has over 216,000 views.

Many fans are waiting for PSY and Noh Hong Chul to put on a collaboration stage. The two have previously worked together on a song called “Please Shake” on MBC‘s ‘Infinity Challenge‘ this past July.

Unfortunately, his agency revealed the comedian has turned down the appearance requests due to language issues leaving Noh Hong Chul’s new-found fans abroad disappointed but still crossing their fingers in the hopes of seeing him on the small screen soon.
