The Chaser star Jang Shin Young was recently crowned champion on “Running Man.”
The episode of SBS’s I Love Sunday―Running Man that aired on August 19 was themed the sequel of The Chaser, a supplementary story of the series after 8 years.
Ji Suk Jin made usual history by getting rid of Kim Jong Guk and survived. The comedian became allies with actress Jang and came up with an idea to remove actor Kim Sang Joon. Getting eliminated by his ex-costar Jang in the end, Kim couldn’t hide feeling void.
Finally confronting Ji Suk Jin, Jang Shin Young successfully removed the comedian’s name tag and became a champion. The actress recited the famous line of Kim Sang Jong’s character in The Chaser: “Will you be my friend?” The clever quotation made everyone laugh hard.
