Noel's Kang Kyunsung will be making a surprise cameo appearance on tvN weekly drama, "Reply 1997" (screenplay by Lee Woojung, directed by Shin Wonho)

Noel’s Kang Kyunsung will be making a surprise cameo appearance on tvN weekly drama, “Reply 1997″ (screenplay by Lee Woojung, directed by Shin Wonho).

On August 14th, “Reply 1997″ featured cameo appearances from Kim Taewon, Jung Juri, Jung Myungok, Park Shiyoon and Ryu Dam.

This will be his first acting challenge. He said, “Acting is a bit awkward and burdensome to me, but I’m very honored and excited to be making a cameo on my favorite show. Though I have issues acting, I will work hard and do my best in the drama.”

“Reply 1997″ is a drama that is set in the late 1990s, where a group of enthusiasts form a friendshipbased on their love for idol groups such as H.O.T and Sechs Kies.

Kang Kyunsung’s cameo appearance will appear in the 9th episode of “Reply 1997,” set to air on August 21st.
