Singer IU has been receiving many offers from various production companies to act in their dramas. The new actress left an impression on the industry after her acting debut in 2011 in the KBS 2TV drama “Dream High.”
A spokesperson for IU stated, “IU is currently getting offers from more than ten drama production companies to appear in their series. IU is happy to act in some of them, but we don’t have a specific plan yet because she still has a hectic schedule in overseas countries. We’re considering many options.”
On July 18th, IU released the Japanese version of “You & I,” and it reached number four on the Oricon daily chart.
The young star has also been featured as a voice over actress for the film “Sammy’s Adventure 2″ where she voices the character Ella.
After traveling to London to cheer on the Korean national Olympic team, she returned to Korea on August 4th.
