JYP Entertainment and its artists will be holding a special ‘Fan’s Day’ event to show their appreciation for their fans.
Launching for the first time this year, the company aims to hold it annually in the beginning of August. This year, the special event will be held at Seoul’s Platoons Kunsthalle from August 3 to 5 and fans will be able to attend the event for free.
‘Fan’s Day’ will feature various attractions including fan art, exhibitions on the artists’ outfits, dance cover contests and more surprise events.
In regards to the upcoming event, a JYP Entertainment official stated, “We decided to host this event to draw closer to our fans who alsways give so much love to JYP Entertainment. We hope many fans will take part and have an intimate time with the artists.”
The free tickets for the event will become available on July 25.

It was just last month that Hyuna from 4 Minute was hospitalized due to a high fever and exhaustion. While news of a celebrity being hospitalized due to fatigue is nothing new, it still begs the question… do entertainment companies push their artists too far? Artists certainly have an idea of what is expected of them when they sign a contract and know certain sacrifices will be required if they want to be successful...
YG Entertainment To Debut New Girl Group in October
After updating fans on the status on 2NE1‘s comeback yesterday, YG Entertainment has now revealed details on the debut of their upcoming girl group. From a post on YG-Life blog, YG himself states that the new girl group is planning to debut in October. With members fluent in Korean, English and Japanese, they also have an average age of 17. Having started out with 10 members, they are now going to debut with six. Eunbi Kim from Superstar K is one of the members.
