Singers Psy and BoA are competing fiercely for 1st place on various music charts.

On July 23rd, online charts revealed that the fight is currently between Psy’s album, which was released 8 days ago, and BoA’s new album, released just on the 22nd.

Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style‘ topped charts like Melon, Olleh Music, Mnet, and Cyworld Music, while BoA’s ‘Only One‘ overwhelmed Bugs, Naver Music, Daum Music, and Monkey3. Both have achieved immediate results with their respective releases, and now music fans are wondering if Psy will be able to maintain his position more than a week after.

Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ features a strong beat and hilarious lyrics and is a clear club favorite, as it suits hot summer nights perfectly. BoA’s ‘Only One’, which she both composed and wrote herself, belongs to the Lyrical Hip-Hop genre, showing off BoA’s unique voice, as well as her dancing abilities. The choreography for her performance was done by world-renown choreographer NappyTabs, raising expectations for her performance even higher.
