Big Bang is nominated for the Music Jacket Gallery 2012
Group Big Bang was recently nominated for the best album jacket design in Japan.
On July 18, Japan Record Association released a list of nominated albums for the ‘Music Jacket Gallery 2012.’ The winner will be chosen with votes from fans.
Big Bang is nominated in a limited edition category. Their Japanese best album The Best of Big Bang, which was released in November of last year, will compete against competitive stars, including, Justin Bieber and Yuki.
The jacket photo for the album is composed with various pictures of G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P, Daesung, and Seungri like a puzzle.
The album includes the Japanese versions of songs “Tonight,” “Baby Baby,” “Always,” and “My Heaven.” The group drew a lot of attention with their music and design.
The ’Music Jacket Gallery 2012′ chose the nominees among albums, which were released in April of last year to March of this year in Japan. The Japan Record Association will announce the winner in October.
The ’Music Jacket Gallery 2012′ is a unique awards ceremony, which has been holding since last year. They introduce excellent jacket photos to improve music jacket culture.
Big Bang started touring the world by holding a concert in Seoul in March. They recently toured Japan successfully and they will go to China, the United States, and Brazil later this year.Source: Starnews
