On June 18th, a press conference for Channel A’s new drama “Ms. Panda and Mr. Hedgehog” took place at the drama’s filming location. Starring Super Junior’s Donghae and actress Yoon Seungah, “Ms. Panda and Mr. Hedgehog” will be about a romantic relationship that develops between two people with very different personalities.

Most of the drama’s cast was present at the press conference, and many questions were asked regarding each person’s experience with filming the drama. Donghae was first asked to share his thoughts on his character. He said, “Although my character Ko Seungji may seem cold on the outside, he really has a warm heart. In fact, he may actually be the most loving character in the drama.”

Donghae was also asked to share his impression of fellow co-star Yoon Seungah. He commented, “When I first saw Yoon Seungah, I thought she was really beautiful. Not only that, but she is also almost like an older sister to me, always caring for me and giving me advice on how to improve my acting. It’s also because of her that I’ve become a more relaxed and humorous person on set.”

When asked how he manages to simultaneously take part in Super Junior comeback activities and drama filming, Donghae replied, “Well, I’m actually not the only one who has a hectic schedule. Many other actors are just as busy as I am. But recently, I’ve only been able to get two to three hours of sleep each night due to filming. Although there are times when I feel as if I don’t have the strength to continue on with my work, I still always feel happy when I am filming.”

In addition, the cast members and production team were asked to select which actor livens up the filming atmosphere. Everyone pointed to Donghae, and Donghae explained, “There are times when I purposely do an NG just to make everyone laugh and cheer up,” revealing his secret method of cheering everyone up.
