Fifty-thousand copies of B.A.P's new mini-album disposed due to color defect

It has been revealed that prior to its release, B.A.P’s new mini-album, “No Mercy,” had 50,000 copies discarded.

The mini-album, “No Mercy,” was released on July 19th and includes a total of five tracks. A representative from TS Entertainment said, “We’ve been devoting all our energy to unleash the album both online and in record shops on July 19 but there’s been a subtle difference in the color of the print. To keep the promise we’ve made with fans, to provide the top quality for all albums, we’ve decided to discard all copies produced.”

Because of the color print difference, officials made a swift decision to dispose of the albums and quickly underwent reproduction.

B.A.P’s concept for “No Mercy” was a new fashion trend called “pop boy,” which is inspired by the the bright and colorful pop art. Because of the brilliant and primary colors used for their concept, the colors had to be printed out precisely.

Despite the setback, the mini-album was released on time at midnight on July 19th. The title track “No Mercy” entered Melon’s real-time charts in 10th place as of 8AM KST.

The track, which mixes rock riffs and exciting hip-hop rhythms, revealed B.A.P’s fresh new sound.

Meanwhile, B.A.P will hold their first comeback stage tonight on Mnet “M! Countdown.”
