Popular boy band JYJ’s Kim Joon-soo will begin his first world tour next month. According to his management company, Kim, who has released his first solo album in May and is currently on an Asian tour, will now be going on a world concert tour. The tour will take him to at least eight different cities in North & South America as well as Europe.

Kim’s world tour will begin at the end of August as his Asian tour will wrap up early next month in Hong Kong. Ahead of his world tour, a repackaged version of Kim’s 1st solo album, Tarantallegra, with an English version of one of his singles will be available. Kim will be leaving for the U.S. to record the English single and shoot the music video this week. 

Kim’s reps said there were endless love calls being made from the Americas and other parts of the world while Kim was on his Asia tour, which is why the company decided to push for a world tour. They added that it’s a feat in itself that a solo artist is attempting a world tour. [Yonhap]
