The final verdict regarding the exclusive contract between SM Entertainment and JYJ (Junsu, Yoochun, Jaejoong) has been postponed.

Initially, both sides were set to be present at the Seoul Central District Court for the ruling on July 19th at 10AM KST, but Korean news site have reported that the meeting has been postponed. According to news, the rescheduled date has been set for August 10th.

Since May, SM Entertainment and JYJ have attempted six times since last year in May to work out a solution, which has delayed the court’s decision. But because there has been no reconciliation between the two parties, trial resumed at the end of last year.

According to the article by Star News, SM Entertainment has proposed a settlement prior to the court’s final decision, which was filed on July 11th.

In 2009, three TVXQ members, now known as JYJ, filed an injunction in 2009 against SM Entertainment due to unfair exclusive contracts with the agency. In April 2010, SM Entertainment filed a lawsuit against the three, confirming validity the exclusive contract and filing a claim of damage. JYJ followed with a counterclaim, filing a lawsuit that the contract was invalid.

Last year of February, the courts dismissed all claims against JYJ brought by SM Entertainment. The exclusive contract between the two parties was then declared voided, allowing JYJ to continue entertainment activities.
