Leeteuk talks about variety shows & Super Junior’s fame on ‘Star Life Theater’
Super Junior‘s proud leader Leeteuk revealed his intentions towards appearing on variety programs.
On the July 18th broadcast of KBS 2TV ‘Star Life Theater‘, Leeteuk revealed, “Because we started out as a ‘project team’, I remember putting my life on the line [to do well] every time I went on an episode.”
He added, “I became a fixed member of a show for the very first time on ‘Star Golden Bell‘. At the time, I thought a lot about how I would make people laugh week after week. I shamelessly tried so many things that sometimes my seniors would tell me to please stop.”
Like the dependable, responsible leader he is, Leeteuk remarked, “I personally wanted to become more famous on my own, but I knew that it was important for our team to become more popular and I worked to fulfill that mission.”
