Gong Yoo has been crowned the new "chemi king"
The new "chemi king" is none other than Gong Yoo, the star of KBS's new drama "Big." The term "chemi king" is a combination of the words "chemistry" and "king," meant to describe actors who have great chemistry with their fellow cast members.
In "Big," Gong Yoo plays the soul of young Kang Gyungjoon stuck within the flawless body of Seo Yoonjae. Of course, his fame did not begin there.
In 2005, he acted in the MBC drama "Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy," portraying Taein - a student who falls in love with Na Bori (Gong Hyojin) who is a teacher six years older than him. Additionally, he was in another MBC drama, "One Fine Day," where he acting was naturally in sync with Sung Yuri.
Furthermore, he was even suspected of dating Yoon Eunhye with whom he acted in the 2007 MBC drama "Coffee Prince." He was even in a scandal with co-star Im Soojung from the movie "Finding Mr. Destiny."
Responding to this new label, netizens noted that they agreed with Gong Yoo being the new "chemi king."
What do you think? Does his acting in "Big" stand up to this title of "chemi king?"
