Singer IU and BEAST’s Gikwang have become a ‘turtle couple’ for a dubbingproject.

Ahead of the release of 3D animation movie “Sammy’s Adventure2,” IU, Gikwang, and comedian Kim Won Hyo participated in dubbing the movie in Korean. “Sammy’s Adventure” first drew attention asit was dubbed by BigBang’s Daesung and f(x)’sSulli,and now, the sequel, “Sammy’s Adventure 2,” tells the story of Sammy’sgranddaughter Ella going on a new journey.

IU dubbed the voice of cute and sentimental voice of Sammy’sgranddaughter, Ella. Despite it being her first time taking part in adubbing project, she surprised the public by displaying a voice thatperfectly fits the character.

In addition, Gikwang dubbed the voice of Ella’s boyfriend, Ricky, whohas a cute but courageous charm to his voice. Meanwhile, Kim Won Hyo revealed his wit and various popular sayings as he dubbed theaquarium’s autocrat, BigD the seahorse.

After the dubbing project came to an end, IU said, “Becauseit is a 3D animation, I think it will answer many questions that kidsmay have about the world under the sea.” Gikwang also commented, “It’san animation that families can enjoy together during summer vacation.” Kim Won Hyo also strongly recommended the movie saying, “I hopethat all the families can get together to watch this film.”

The movie will hit theaters everywhere on August 2nd.
